Re: 50NL QQ 6-Max

Against someone who just sat down with 50BB and posted OOP I'm happy to get it in on this flop.

Re: 10NL: getting paid off

You need to play both hands faster. Lead the first hand and keep betting if he calls.

You must 3-bet the flop on the second hand with the clubs out there. Either a) villain is on a club draw and...

Re: nl 50 kk against two shortys

[ QUOTE ]
um, whats the issue..shove.

[/ QUOTE ]

The issue is that he may not have enough time to complete the required number of fist-pumps here before he times out and auto-folds.

Re: 10 nl flopped two pair, bet the river?

You can't bet fold give stack sizes. Villain has about $3 behind, so any bet will pretty much commit you to calling a shove.

The board got a little scary on the river, but I think you have to...

Re: Stars $10 - set OOP vs flop raiser

Sorry my bad. Thought it was NL25.

I still don't mind a shove though.

Re: Stars $10 - set OOP vs flop raiser

Just shove. He'll call you down light since you're a short stack. I don't think he's folding anything to a shove that he isn't folding to a min raise.

Re: 25NL - Bottom set on drawy board for 120BB

You are getting closer to 5:1 and you have pot odds to make a full house, not to mention implied odds and the possibility that you already have the best hand. Folding here is terrible. And raise this...

Re: $5NL 6-Max, WTF I have 2 purr facing huge river overbet!!

Insta-fold.

Why did you check the turn? And why didn't you raise his weak bet?

Re: NL 25 (6 max)

Call. If you're behind you're way behind, but you're ahead more than enough to make this call.

Re: NL6 - About hand reading and calling shove

Raise the flop. If he has an ace he's calling you and if he doesn't he'll probably check/fold the turn so you're not getting more value if he's bluffing. This is a great flop for you to build the pot...

Re: NL10 - Calling a shove with A high

[ QUOTE ]
What you're doing here is outspewing him when you should be just playing better hands than him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Outspewing is the new outplaying.

Re: Pair and oesd

Unless villain's been getting out of line a lot I would fold this pretty fast.

Re: QQ monochrome deck

Yes bet a little more on every street - close to pot. Check behind on the river is fine, I don't think he calls with anything you beat and I doubt he'll fold the K/images/graemlins/club.gif.

Re: NL10 22 in BB - limpers

This is one of the few times I won't raise a pp. If you raise you are likely to get 3+ callers (with each one getting better odds than the last) and at least one of them is going to stubbornly call...

Re: $10NL KK bad board

I'd call but it's close. If you're ahead on the flop he's got 12-14 outs, and if you're behind you're drawing nearly dead. You need 30% equity to call and I figure you have a bit more than that.

Re: TPTK playing for stacks against fish

[ QUOTE ]
I would fold here. You might be ahead, but I try never to play TPTK for stacks on 25NL. I do not think it is profitable in the long run, even when playing donks like this.

Re: Buying in short?

Given the situation you describe I think buying in short is OK. Now that you have $300 buy in for $15 and see if you can get up to $500 more quickly and be fully rolled for NL25.

If you drop below...

Re: With hands like this, am I just pot, pot, potting?

I think this is a good line. So many people will call two PSB's because they have an Ace and they're thinking "zomg! I could make a straight!"

I would probably check/call on the river OOP though,...
