Re: Perfect play (I think) leads to exit from 100k live tourney

Well played, bad luck...

You don't wanna be against villains 8 outs and buttons possible 8 outs as well, so the check raise goes very fine for me...

I don't think you would want to keep him in...

Re: Early in a Venetian Deep Stack...

ouch... would have played it similar if not the same I guess...

I don't see a point in this hand where you can get away from it without a very very VERY good read on villain on the river... but...

Re: JJ in sb vs 2 limpers, best play?

I'm often raising this to 2000 if I'm in CO or BTN, in SB I use to raise more because I want to take this pot away as soon as possible...

I guess I'm raising to 2500 and making a c-bet on a flop...

Re: $1 Pokerstars Endgame: Two-Pair on the Flop - What to do?

I'm raising this to 36k and see what the other 2 do, re-evaluate their actions.

You're in position, perfect spot /images/graemlins/smile.gif I am NEVER flat-calling this, because of the endless...

people who minraise and don't lead rag flops are trapping with aa in my exp. in these 180's.

I'd muck it preflop to that minraise, which sounds ridiculous.

Re: 4.40 Big river bet, im not sure

definitely bet the turn, as you are missing out a huge deal of information here in this spot...

As played I'm probably folding to his overbet, we still have a very playable stack and only really...

Re: folded to your SB.... you peel a 22.... what now?

This really depends on reads on villain imo...

If he's somewhat weak/tight, I'm usually just raising in this spot...

To an overly aggressive bigblind, I'm sometimes just folding, as I do not...

Re: Live-Event: 100$/30, AJo in MP, LAG reraises all-in

If you're able to outplay the guy easily on every other occasion, I'm finding a fold here, knowing that I can get his chips on a better spot later on... As you said, at best he has 44-TT, so it's a...

Re: 2 bubble situations

1) I don't know about that one, I'd probably be pushing here... Although I don't know the exact payouts of the Sunday Million, so I guess folding to get ITM is fine as well.

2) If he has been...

Re: Live Event, 100$/30, TT in MP, Villain goes all-in on trash flop

Hm, if villain has been very aggressive as you said I'd have probably thought of shoving PF...

As played, this really depends on the reads you got of him... With a tight villain, who's repopping...

Re: Simple PF decision: KJs in SB

I'm often calling here, although it should be a fold in theory (easily dominated hand played OOP against a stack that can really hurt you)... Pretty big leak of mine probably, but sometimes just...

Re: Autocall with this overpair???

I'd hate a check PF... and probably would have raised a similar amount, possibly a bit more. PF check only makes sense if you'd know for sure UTG holds AA (if you haven't seen him openlimp UTG, else...

Re: NL100, KK faces AI on River

I don't like the calldown of such a nit... Imo you need to be raising at some point to see where you're at.

Is raising to 30$ on flop and folding to a shove a bad idea against such a nit? I mean,...

Re: Autocall with this overpair???

Ugh, I just don't like potbets and minraises...

I'm usually betting out around 1500 here, possibly calling a shove... Against an unknown, this might be just some A9 thinking you got overcards //...

Re: Top Set Line Check

Call raise, slowplay a bit... Board is not draw heavy at all, let him do some action, I'd check/call turn and lead river, depending on his betting size I'd raise turn, just try to get all his chips...

Everyone agrees on shoving flop >>> calling-to-keep-in-the *stupid*-draws-in-as-well? (Like 2 overs)

Re: 4/180 stealing blinds against aggressive BB

So you guys think SB calling does not tighten BBs raising range in general? Does BBs aggressive nature tighten SBs calling range here? I think those 2 points are interesting to look at, but I'm not...

Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up

Nah I think you understood it...

People think about raising to isolate the all-in, in which we hopefully are a 40-60 dog (disregarded UTG+1's all-in), against MP3, but because of the dead money in...

UTG raise 5xBB with AQo? Ew, don't like it... Your standard raise? I'm raising to 3.5-4BB standard usually...

I think the other streets are ok, obviously call turn 'cause of pot odds... Maybe bet...

Re: 4/180 stealing blinds against aggressive BB

May I just give this a slight bump? I thought this hand is slightly less standard than other hands, so I'd have loved to hear some comments on the ranges which might be changing here a LOT because of...

Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up

We hold a marginal holding with very low showdown value, OOP against a bigstack, who might as well be a very loose player who pushes you off a middlepair instead of checking down to eliminate the...
