Re: KK vs short stack

Short stack + good odds = snap call.

In my experience short stacks just love to gamble. Especially the ones who buy in for a weird amount and probably are with their entire bankroll at the table.

Re: QA on QQJ board in a reraised pot

He's not passive. Actually he's pretty aggressive for his VPIP. I can see him playing AA/KK like that and we have outs against AK/JJ so I call.

Also, I really like a flop CR!

Re: A discussion with Corsakh - 3betting pairs from the blinds

[ QUOTE ]
This is so key. You 3bet w/99/TT only if 99/TT is ahead of his 3bet CALLING range. If he's only calling with TT+/AK then it's better just to call, as you're basically turning your hand...

Re: NL25 - JJ 3bet PF - flop play?

I'd fold as well. Can't see one hand that calls a push and don't beat us. Fold and wait for a better spot.

Re: NL25SH TPTK on the Turn linecheck

As dogo said, when raising you always need to think in the odds you are laying to your opponents. After CO calls, BB is getting almost 6:1.

If you had raised more, the chances of CO not calling...

Re: 50NL:nuts flush on paired board vs 2 villain

Raise the turn. You need to build the pot after you hit your flush and no one has showed much aggression. I don't care if mp3 fold his weak jack if I can get BB to put more money in the pot (20$ >...

Re: Flopped set gross river

Yeah, the odds are good but you have to fold. It has to be a missed flush at least one time in six for you to call and I don't think it is. Just fold and don't look back.

Re: 86 diamonds Flush Draw play NL10

1. If you want to see cards cheaply just c/c flop and turn. There's no point in making a strong move on the flop and a weak bet on the turn. Your bet is inviting a raise.

2. While the chances your...

Re: QQ vs Loose Passive

1. He's very passive.
2. His PFR range is very tight (7.7% in a small sample).

Now think about a range for his 3bet pre-flop. AKo, AQs+, JJ+ is probably fair for a tight player.

Betting the...

Re: NL25: J high FD 3way

I don't mind the flop call. Our equity is at least 30% if no one is drawing to a higher flush and I call getting 3:1.

SB bet doesn't really mean anything as he could be c-betting with a hand like...

Re: 25NL 6 max. All-in riv against aggressive opponent

Pvnuts, you are wrong. I can't look at the hand right now so I just read the posts.

Yeah, you have reverse implied odds if you hit your straight and a flush card hits on the river (assuming your...
