Re: JJ in blind vs. button squeeze

?? Are you honestly saying that UTG in a 6 handed game you are only raising with QQ+ or AK? Knowing what the buy-in is here is important. Low buy in with a lot of donks I would seriously consider it....

Re: Bubble in satellite and chat -case

Why would someone want to help you in a sit and go where you are going to eventually compete against each other? You should be abusing him anyway since he won't want to go out before the shorties....

Re: ($5.5) I think I messed this up, but where?

You have to call... it could be something like Ac with x, perhaps with a pair, or even an overpair thinking you are just drawing to the flush. With so much money invested go all the way.

Re: Bubble in satellite and chat -case

What site was this on?

In the WCOOP just before the final table tonight someone said "I'll show" and Lee nearly had a fit saying that he was *THIS* close to breaking the rules: you can't say...

Re: Math guys help. Odds to call?

I think intuitively this is an easy fold if you really think his range is that tight?

Re: Satellite situation with large draw

I don't see how this is a large draw... you have a ~20% chance of hitting your draw. There are much better spots.

Re: $33 - Pushing AA\'s into a paired board - Mistake?

How is pushing a good play? You're definately going to be called by hand that beats you, and you're not going to get called by many hands worse.

Re: (16$) Basic QQ question

There are times when I might flat call and see if an A or K falls on the flop... but this isn't one of them.

Re: (215) Semi-deep stacked top pair with nut flush draw

[ QUOTE ]
His huge raise and huge stack basically pot comitted himself to the pot. Since he limped from early position, you must assume he has at least a big ace, if not a set of 9s or (less likely)...

Re: QQ vs shove and call - J73

I don't think he's calling raises with hands like 73 offsuit, no matter how loose he is... but I guess you never know.

Re: QQ vs shove and call - J73

I don't see how you can possibly fold. A set is such a small part of his range that the pot odds compensate for it, and you still have outs no matter what he has.

Re: LC -Why do you prefer SNG\'s over other forms of poker??

Because after playing for a month off and on, I am up ~250 in sit and gos and down ~250 in everything else. I have no idea why i play anything but sit and gos.

Re: Stars 4.40 KK hand

If you had a strong ace why would you be going all in? You wouldn't be trying to scare them out.

Re: Casino\'s offering hand bonuses

Why wouldn't you just add $1000 to the pot and use that as the pot when calculating pot odds?

You were getting over 9 to 1 odds to call on the river. Can you honestly say you are 90% sure you are beaten?
