Re: Best Sites for FullRing-PLO

Don't play FR as it's the best hand against the best draw and they are even odds. Mansion is Ongame and the first impression is no-like the software but it's a false impression, and one can drop any...

why you are idiots

you don't want structures that create action. The big bet poker games that have action are my dream, but that doesn't include the suckout games like PLO though I would still rather play them but they...

Re: sb vs bb confrontations?

Negreanu raises only very strong hands when opening on the SB OOP and limps of the rest I think whatever he thinks he can get away with (not getting raised). One is of course also playing the player,...

tournament winnings in the US in 3/2008 a sort of a tax question

In/after 3/2008 in the USA one will have to pay 25% from tournament winnings that are at least or bigger than $5K. Can you deduct the loses too, when you don't win? That's not per year or something...

Re: What effect does poker have on your brain?

Any discipline of gaming and non gaming, mental, emotional or/and physical will have its good and bad effects.

Poker especially online is highly focused and disciplined practise.

Re: Where to sit?

[ QUOTE ]
Seat to the left is safest IMO without reads in case the person to his right got tired of having a LAG to his left.

Re: UB actually enforcing disconnect abuse...

Over a year ago I saw at many poker sites that even when I had proved it to them, they did nothing but say that nothing had been done wrong. So, as that's the case I figured it's both correct and...

Re: guy claims he knows a pokerstars programmer that rigged the rng

I had to stop reading it at "80%." I don't know what he is playing but generally 95% of "players" at Stars are at least decent players. That's why he, an offline player, is losing.

Re: best times online

You just find out for yourself as it depends of so many things, like if it's a non-US site or what limit you play, what day is it and the exact time.

The middle limit players come from their work...

Re: NL vs Limit: Which suits me better?

Limit is more profitable; nl is just moving cents around, there not being much play in it. There is no stress at limit but a lot of it at nl, it being constant stress. The stress of losing one pot at...

Re: Cashing out Huge amount from Pstars....

Don't cash out big amounts, especially if it's a major part of your money in PokerStars. You may have heard about the "Doom Switch." What you are about to do is one of the possible causes why people...

Re: Rake increase in Ladbrokes cash games

The rake increase there increases the rake of other than higher limit players. Things haven't though got worse as they have an in-built rakeback these days. And they will have a 3-D software at one...

Re: HU strategy I\'ve used lately

I don't see you have the odds to call the cr on the turn. Additionally if you make a two pair it would be king's up that looks like the nuts to me, considering the opponent might have 3-bet preflop...

Re: What is the real benefit of 6max Limit Hold\'em?

There are good enough games for the non-US players, especially if one is playing them only at best times and picks tables. With a good rakeback/bonus deal the low limit games even from 2-4 to 5-10...

Other than that it's not the way to start, not without side bets (the results must be proven). Ferguson has said on the table that why not...
