Re: Question #48
Another reason to fold is that a call or a raise by you doesn't close the action if you call or raise and MP re-raises it you are in worse shape than you thought and invested a lot of $$ in a pot...

Re: Question 39
For question 39, I think the best answer is one that is not given as a choice. You should kick yourself for not 3-betting the flop and getting yourself committed after he raised you.

Re: 25NL - QQ vs Suspected 2+2er
If you are worried about his hand range, I think a 3-bet preflop is the way to extract the most information. I can't see him 4-betting you without AA or KK (maybe AKs but doubtful)

.05/.10 NL AA UTG with 5 callers.
Sorry, I don't have pokertracker set up on my new computer yet and am doing this from memory so the details aren't precise. The table usually has a $0.20 to $0.40 raise preflop with 2-3 players...

playing suited one gappers on a good flop.
This type of hand always gives me trouble. Say you limp with 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif after 2 or three other plays enter the pot. The small blind limps and...

odd event at table.
two days ago I was playing .05/.10 NL and got AA in the UTG+1 position. I meant to bet $0.40 but missed the decimal point and bet $4. My thought at this popint was crap way to kill all the action. ...

Re: Question 24
For question 24 I voted fold.
It has to do more with the description of the opponent as a good solid player. The pot odds might justify the call but I don't want to double up the good players...

Re: CBS columnist bashes gambling, WSOP
It's partly a level and partly true. Let's face it, without a rake, poker is a zero sum game. With a rake, the only guaranteed winner is the house. How do you win at poker, you make fewer mistakes...

Re: Big Bluffs at the Micro-Stakes?
The key to micro limits is value bets. If you are going to bluff in the micros the best place to do it is on the river when a flush or straight draw misses. If you never bluff at all you can still...
