Re: live 8/16 anybody raise this river?

What would raising the river accomplish? I don't think a good thinking player is donking into 2 opponents, who have shown no indication they're folding, with the intention of folding to a raise.

Re: 1/2 Blind vs Blind possible spew?

If you read villain as being passive just call the river raise. Many straight and flush combos just got there, and he is obviously not afraid of that.

I think everything else is fine.

Re: Worth playing back?

Please raise preflop, CO is exactly the type of player you want to isolate. You say you're worried about him being showdown bound, but your hand has showdown value and you should have a big edge...

Re: Top Two Shenanigans

Lead turn, call down if raised. He likely has a pair or diamond draw and you don't want to give any free cards on that board.

Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)

I wonder if Scott and his crew are paying taxes on their stolen income. Maybe the IRS should look into this.

Re: You\'re making an ass of yourself, sorry

I'm just a lurker, but I agree with the sentiments people are expressing about this clown.

Re: Good turn semi-bluff?

I agree with mvoss that you have very little fold equity. There are so many draw combos that villain can put you on, and you don't have many outs to improve.

Re: disputing a visa debit charge for poker-has anyone done this befor

So if a 17 year old buys a pack of cigarettes would he also be entitled to do a chargeback since the merchant shouldn't have sold to a minor?

When I had to pick a new site to play on after the UIGEA I chose FTP for this very reason. I'd like to give stars a try but the UI just...

Re: Moneygram Deposit on Stars

I emailed support about depositing via mg, and apparently you can only do so if you have at least 1 lifetime FPP so this method is not available to new users. I guess I'm censored since I can't...

Re: KJo vs. preflop 3 bettor

I'd just call down from the flop. When villain is behind, he's drawing to 2-3 outs and we can usually count on him to keep betting his worse hand based on that AF, but if we raise it gives him an...

Also, I think a turn c/r gets your money in better against CO.

If the CO bets this turn I don't think you're money is going in that great.

Re: line check with TPGK

I don't understand why you played it this way. On the flop you have a very strong hand but you c/c when you could have c/r and had the loose SB calling 2. On the turn, if you want 2 bets going in...

Re: Flopped A Flush But I Have My Doubts...

Raise turn, raise non-spade river. Villains could easily have a 4 flush, set, 2 pair, pair, etc. If they have a higher flush, oh well next hand.
