Re: Top pair weak kicker facing raise on river

I never have any idea in these BB hands with limpers preflop. Check-fold turn IMO. Definitely fold river.

Re: 25NL whats the best plan on this turn?

I think the idea that we should be 'protecting' our hand is a strange one to have when we could so easily be behind.

Re: OESD oop in a bloated pot, say what...

I disagree with Kaz, and I think you should fold. Villain is at 14/12/2, has raised preflop, and then raised your ill-advised donk-bet by more than pot. At the micros, you are nearly never ahead...

Re: 1010 facing turn heat - NL$50 6m

I like a check behind on the turn. As played, I think I get it in there against a LAG as nothing got there on the turn and this is a great spot/nice pot for him to float.

It would be nice to know...

[ QUOTE ]
why is c/c superior to b/c, b/f, or c/r?

[/ QUOTE ]

IMHO, c/c on turn is preferable to b/c, b/f and c/r, because we don't particularly want to fold our 2 pair, and, as villain's...

3bet pf against button raiser. I really hate playing this hand OOP.

I agree, but know plenty of good players that like calling.

Re: 25NL whats the best plan on this turn?

Interesting hand. I think I go into pot control on the turn and check/call. If villain bets turn, i check/call river unless i hit another jack. If villain checks turn behind, I lead river for ~pot,...

Re: I don\'t know what to call this, but I like it

What's villain's SB limping range? Has villain C/Rd many flops? What's villain's turn AF? Does villain double barrel bluff often?

Without any of this info, IMO your line here is mega-mcspew.

Re: Bottom set facing AI on turn

Raise pre, as played reraise the mini-raise pre (~$2.50), as played raise the flop more (~$4.50), as played 4-bet shove flop, as played shove turn, as played call turn.

You don't have bottom set...

Re: jacks as an overpair

From what i've seen of 5c/10cNL, most people don't tend to 3-bet anything but aces and kings pre-flop, and so I probably fold preflop rather than having to play against a 3-bettor and possibly the...

Re: Flush draw what to do?

Against maniacs you shouldn't semi-bluff. Just wait call your draws knowing that if you hit you have a good chance of taking the maniac's stack.

Re: 77 set vs. turn donk bet (FD hit)

First, I think you need to bet more on the flop, as lots of draws ( OESD, NFD, med strength combo etc.) will be willing to call a PSB to see the turn, while some others (OESFD blah blah) will often...

Re: 25NL - nut flush draw and gutshot - get it all in on the flop?

I hate the flop C/R, as you have next to zero fold equity. Just call and try to hit your hand.

Re: NL 50 AK villian shoves turn

IMO, if your not prepared to call a shove, then you shouldn't be betting the turn.
