Re: another set in 100K...ugly board line check
It's not really that scary. Your flop action hopefully scares away any naked spade draws, and you're really only worried about club draws or in the rare case 56 (in which case you'll know about it)....

Re: Paul Wolf hosting the FTOPS today
Paul's a good guy and a talented poker player. Wasn't he the one 6 tabling the 10/20 NL for whatever that promotion on FTP was a few years ago (to make like 100k FPP in a month or something)?

Re: fold or call
Easy call.
Reasonable ranges for all of the callers are 22-AA, A2-AK (yes, A2). You're facing a couple pairs and/or *hopefully* a counterfeited ace. Best situation obviously is Ax Ax Ax.

Re: Stars 50K Guaranteed - The Dreaded Min Raise
I think it's a bit too early to assign him a hand just yet. Especially that it's only 100/200 (pretty early in the tourney).
Just play the hand as you would assuming he limped. Raise to 1000 or...

Re: satty can i sit out?
No, you can't really sit out. Probably with 50k. I'd still just try to find a couple of small pots to pad my stack. Satellites aren't about reaching a milepost and just sitting out, you gradually...

Re: Experienced full table LHE tips?
Thanks for the thoughts, guys. I'll report in (if I remember, anyway) after a bit more of a taste of LHE. I only play around a thousand hands a day at the moment so it may be a couple weeks.

Experienced full table LHE tips?
I've typically played SNGs (several thousand in the past few years) and done decently (my ROI is above 0 /images/graemlins/smile.gif ) but I'm getting somewhat disenchanted with them. The fact that...

Re: LHE Bankroll Calculator
Yeah, I didn't really do a great job of explaining this, but that's essentially the purpose: determining what limit to play (and what watermarks to change limits) given a starting bankroll and...

LHE Bankroll Calculator
I wrote a spreadsheet to convert a linear bankroll to a limit-adjusted bankroll, so that you can see exactly how many BB you have before going broke provided you move up and down in limits...

Re: 1 monitor for 6-tabling without overlap???
Once you get a 30" you will never be happy on a normal monitor again. You can *almost* 9 table without overlap, and at a minimum, you can 6 table and have some lobbies up.
If you can save up for...

Re: Gamepads to play with?
What's a "long time"? If I'm 6-tabling for 8-10 hours a day, are they going to last a day? Week? Month? If it's a week, fine, but if it's every other day, regular batteries will be out as an option.

This may not technically be software, but I would venture this would be the best forum for this question.
I'm looking to make the switch from a mouse and keyboard to something a bit more...

Re: Winrates for HU limit?
Yeah, my W@SD with FH is 90, otherwise all are mostly the same, except for high card at 14%. Probably calling with A, K and even Q high a bit too much.
