Re: AA holding question

As Siegmund said above, this isn't really a close choice. AA vs. 8 players is ideal and you'll win lots and lots with it even though you'll lose more than half the time. With AK heads up your win %...

wtf happened to poker source online?

The website www.pokersourceonline.com (http://www.pokersourceonline.com) has been down for 24 hours now. Did they bite the dust or what? Fwiw, I still see their ads here at 2+2.

Re: Poker Stars has the same sounds as Absolute???

That's a very good idea. I will have to do some experiments of my own with the sound files.

A very \"Noble\" fiasco

A few weeks ago I received one of those typical emails from Noble Poker offering me $20 free to play at their tables. I've had these offers from other sites and always blew them at a NL table on an...

Re: The dirty little secret about Miller\'s book for players with PT

That's crazy. I only make .01bb/100 more outside the blinds, lose more in the blinds, but make more than twice as much as you per 100 hands (from a total sample of 49k at euro, but that includes 20k...

Re: The dirty little secret about Miller\'s book for players with PT

A lot of people aren't going to take you seriously because you're new here, but I think your post is well reasoned. The only thing I'm not so sure about is whether it's Ed's "dirty little secret."

Re: The Only Three Questions That Matter

You missed me by a mile. My 3 most important questions are:

1. Where shall we go for lunch?
2. Where can I take a leak?
3. Where do I sleep?

Re: The final truth about down swings.

Very good post. Perhaps instead of all the focus on where the blame lies, what you really mean is that there is no one to blame for down swings (a lot of the time).

Anyway, everyone has their...

Re: When a read is not a read.

Hey, I didn't even know I could do that! Thanx! That helps a lot.

Re: When a read is not a read.

Ok, point well taken. If I could access my notes on a player when I'm not at a table, that would be very helpful.

Just today I noticed a guy who would habitually check-raise as a bluff, but his...

Re: When a read is not a read.

Your post implies that someone doesn't already take notes in conjunction with PT, and I don't understand how the posting of stats (to give reads) gives that impression.
