Re: [150NL] 88 Flopped set 550bb\'s Deep

Fold. I'd expect to see KK or AA here almost always. Almost no one, especially a nit like this is going to make megabig bets like that without at least KK here. Maybe 44 is possible but I think...

200NL: Value shove this river?

Villain is a fish, 63/15. Only 30 hands but he's clearly a donk. He insta-called flop and turn, which made me think he might have a high spade, but can't be sure of these guys. On the river I have...

Re: Party Regs Thread

Vollkaufmann is definitely not a standard TAG, he's pretty bad really. Limps too much preflop, chases gutshots etc and doesn't fold marginal hands postflop. Very passive also.

Re: Party Regs Thread

Yeah I laughed today when Montagnais stacked a nit for 160BBs with KT on a 67T board. The nit had TQo which did surprise me a bit.

Re: Party Regs Thread

WTF Montagnais is running +40 PTBB/100 for 1500 hands in my DB. Then there's montagnais2, who's running -50 PTBB/100?

Your outs aren't even clean a lot of the time

Yeah, but he doesn't have to have a big hand either when he bets like that on the flop.

Re: AK getting milked by fish

I don't think the flop call is bad. It's a small bet, you have some outs, and a T might win you a big pot when he makes the second nuts with a K or stacks off with the low end.

Re: AK getting milked by fish

This looks like a flopped set/two pair that gets scared on the turn and then fills up on the river. Fold.

Edit: heh obv flopped two pair that fills up on the river isn't possible. Fold...

Re: Our hand improves, but...

Ahh I love nits who say c/f. Pretty easy c/c anything up to 2/3 pot. Usually when a donk bluffs a busted draw he makes it like 1/2 pot.

Re: 3bet, Give Up, Get There, Now What?

Yeah I think most 25/20s are 4-betting AK here with a super high % when they open from the CO if hero has normal stats.

? AK would 4-bet pre, AJ and AQ probably stabs flop, Ax spades definetely bets it. And if he didn't stab the flop, would he float the turn ? Possibly but it's a long shot....

I fold his range preflop would be pocket pairs, AK, AQ. Probably not AA or KK unless he,s played it tricky. Pushing turns your TT into a bluff and probably folds out overpairs without a...

Re: Good Push?

Fold, it's a spot where you have at best like 55 % equity(against FD and overcard) but you are also often a big underdog.

Re: 3bet, Give Up, Get There, Now What?

I'd call. His line just doesn't make any sense. What A could he have? AK would 4-bet pre, AJ and AQ probably stabs flop, Ax spades definetely bets it. And if he didn't stab the flop, would he float...

Re: 100nl mid-flush made on turn and slow played.....

Plz post stats.
Well, UTG is probably a bad player given his preflop limp and minraise. I'd stack off here for sure, any 5 will pay you off. Re-raise him to 55 or so and call a shove.

Edit:Even...

Re: 100NL 3bet Pot C/R

Probably just c-bet the flop/call a shove, he seems passive. Against agro guys you could check and make it look like you are giving it up with AK, let them take a stab and then push over the top.

Re: Good spot to bluff? (200NL 6max)

Depends on his went to showdown %. If it's 30+, I'm probably not bluffing here but with more normal % I'll bluff very often just because it's a great spot to bluff. He could have a lot of missed...

Re: A9 OOP calldown on AJ627 board against LAG BTN opener

3-bet pre, he has all kinds of crap on the button and even if he's calling a lot of 3-bets A9s is not a bad hand, stack off if you make TP. Also if you 3-bet pre you're not getting into tough spots...

You didn't post his AF, but I assume he is a typical loose/ passive.
Definitely don't fold. Call and re-evaluate the turn is the best line. If he pots the turn or bets something like that, fold but...
