Re: \'Randomizing your bet size\' article

" Randomizing what sorts of hands you make particular raise sizes with will have no impact on what your opponents perceive your raise sizes as representing if they are not aware that your range is...

Re: Best place to play for Full ring players w/ rakeback and bonus

Crypto doesn't have quite enough action if you want to play 8 tables. i-poker and ongame are better for multitabling. Possibly you could try having 2 crypto tables on the side and play the rest 6...

Re: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE, FT Bonus at last

I've quit playing Full tilt. Last month they offered $75 to come back, I didn't play. Yesterday, they offered $150. I stay firm. So, next month it should be $300! Cool. I'll think about it when it...

Re: Is it ever possible to avoid getting busted by sets?

[quote Board comes something like 2sTcJc. Its drawy, better bet out big here to chase out the flush and straight drawers. You make a 3/4PSB and get raised 3x.

[/ QUOTE ]

What you mean 3x?...

Re: I cant help not tilting at 10-100x my regular stakes

I don't agree with those who give advice like "poker is not for you and you should quit" or anything similar. Nonsense.

You can work on your brains dude. You can improve on anything if you put...

Re: Competition

I don't know what kind of crazy games there used to be in the "crazy days" - I wasn't present then. However, the stakes I play in at pokerstars ($0.25/.50 NL) are PACKED WITH FISH. Sure every table...

Re: When all-in, any tips for mentally adjusting to the drama of it?

I just tried the "look away" and "check your stack later" trick after I weirdly tilted and went all-in with A7o. I felt like " oh god why did I do THAT - oh [censored] what if I get callled...."

I...

Re: 6-Max 4-Way All-In Everyone Flops FH - Odds?

This would be more interesting if some sucker would have called the 4 all-ins with an x-4 hand and taken the pot with that.
...and then it should happen in an MTT final table too. The sucker should...

Re: T I L T

I dunno if I can really teach you on this coz I've myself busted my bankroll quite recently. Anyway, basically what I'm doing now is studying the game and playing $5-6 S&Gs until my bankroll is at...

Re: Can you guys watch tv, hear music etc and win at poker?

For me the best stuff is easy listening with quite simple melodies and repeated choruses. Beat can be tough but not fast. Simon&Garfunkel type singalong stuff is good. Also Bob Marley and Grateful...

[ QUOTE ]

The blinds start at 10-20 and plateau at 300-600 after 7 minutes (1500 start stack).

I am not sure you can speak about strategy in this kind of game...

Re: 6-handed superturbo multiple all-ins

Thanks for replying. With superturbo I mean S&G in which blinds double every minute. "Turbo" of course is used in most sites, but this is 3-5 times faster. Some sites call these "thunderstorm" or...

6-handed superturbo multiple all-ins

I've recently picked up playing 6-handed superturbo S&Gs. It appears to me that a player who doubles or triples up first is a huge favourite on these ones. Quite often 2 players with any 2 high cards...

Re: stupid statistical rant inspired by donks comment while playing li

Very nice story. It's a wonderful thing how easy it is to think you know the game. This guy probably had heard that "you're supposed to do some calculations" while playing.

Just about a year ago I...
