I think that Stud8 is one of the highest skill poker game there is today; hence it's a bit more difficult to master.
It seems easy, but to become really good at it, it takes a lot of experience!...

I suppose SS = short stack.

So, it's not some form/variant of poker that has more skill/less luck, but rather stacks size is the defining factor, if I understand you...
