Re: tptk vs 2+2\'er

I agree that this looks very much like 55 or 77, but I am not too sure you can fold here. He will only have 300 left to bet into a 600 pot. Do you think you win less often than 1/4 of the time?

Re: KK overpair faces heat from regular

I cant see how you can call, although I would like to hear from the others.

There is a very small chance he has AQ or KQ, in which case you are a huge favorite. Other than those situations, you...

Re: 99 3bet pot

It seems to me that the confounding issue in this hand is villian's check on the flop. Because Villian isn't overly aggressive, his three bet pre flop probably means a large PP or AK and maybe AQ...

QQ facing a Four-Bet

I played this hand live at Hollywood Park in LA. I am trying to play more aggressively, which means I need to get better at playing these 3-bet and 4-bet preflop hands.

1-2 Blinds, effective...

Re: QQ vs loose player

Well if he pushes you are getting about 3-1 on a call. However, given the only legitimate hand that would push with that we can beat (at that point) is JJ, I think I would probably fold, but I would...

Re: QQ vs loose player

Would anyone else also agree that this is a clear turn bet? If you bet about 60 on the turn you have a much better idea of where you are at. Given the check on the turn (when the 2 could only help...

Re: How do you play Queens against a 3-bet -Range postflop?

Aren't we more worried about AA and KK than a set??? TT is a potential issue but I am thinking he is trying to induce a bet from another overpair.

Re: How do you play Queens against a 3-bet -Range postflop?

These situations are a mess, but having position helps dramatically. I would probably check behind on the flop and see what he does on the turn. If he checks a safe turn, I would make a 3/4ish pot...

Re: OOPSIE- I dun got scared?

wp. You dont get anyone to call this river with anything you beat, and you dont fold out anything you beat. At best, you fold out another J, but that is unlikely and not worth opening yourself up...

Re: AKs, should i be raising somewhere?

I don't think this line is OK no matter what the stack size. There are probably a few ways to play this, but at some point you have to fire. I would bet 3/4 pot on the flop and probably again on...

Re: Scared of the Overset

4-2,

I don't know if you can say he is "repping" AA, as he called rather than raised in two spots where AA was the nuts.

Re: Raised 44 UTG and hit Full House on AA4 flop

Because you are out of position I think it is stack time. If you had position on him I would say to call and then either raise the river or, if checked to, put in the stack and make it look like a...

Re: Scared of the Overset

No way you can fold, as his hand is probably more likely to be AQ or 77 than AA or QQ.

Also, does this betting line make any sense if he has a hand that beats you. If he has QQ the flop play...

Re: How to extract here

Fold PF; as played, you have to put in a big C/R bet on the flop, and follow with another PS bet on the turn. If he has AK/AQ you could get your stack in with this line. If not, you probably aren't...

Re: 200 nl - Standard AA against a shorty.

I would raise more on the flop, maybe to $12 or $14.

As played I like the bet on the flop, and I would make a $40ish bet on the turn and check behind on the river.

If he check raises you...

Re: NL100: Top pair facing big river bet

I am a newbie but I think you have to fold this. No way a TAG preflop raiser calls two barrels without having top pair beat.

Re: 100$NL Stars AQ top pair again ....

I am a newbie but, in my experience, this has to be a fold. No way a TAG preflop raiser calls two barrels with less than top pair.

Full Tilt 3/6 and 5/10 Ring Games

I played Party's 5-10 full ring game before it was shut down to Americans and had decent success (about 1.5 bb/100). I just signed up with Full Tilt yesterday (because I was intrigued by their 100%...

Re: $55 sng 4 handed with kk vs two allins pre flop

I agree that a call here is necessary, but what if it were QQ? JJ or less seems like an easy fold here, but I am not sure what I would do with Queens.

Re: PP (11) pocket 10\'s 5 handed

If you had more chips you could think about it, but you are so short that it seems like a must-call IMO.

Re: Stars 225 ATo in BB

I don't even see how this could be good 4-handed. I am new to posting, but this looks like a terrible call to me.
