Re: Limit change rules for an existing cash game...

Re: If you ran the poker room...

That is great, but if that is the case I suspect its because of player preference and not something a cardroom was able to impose on the players.

Re: If you ran the poker room...

The problem is that many of the NL players simply won't play limit. If you don'toffer NL they will go elsewhere or set up a home game.

I hear it all the time when a NL player sits in a limit game...

Re: Another question on player preferences.

[ QUOTE ]
We've had this discussion many times in the past. I'm pretty sure the consensus is that having the line is good (to help the dealers handle short-armed players), but attaching rules to...

Re: Limit change rules for an existing cash game...

In my room the floors seem to treat it differently if the players are changing to a game we regularly spread than if its a game we don't regularly spread.

So if a bunch of players are in the game...

Re: Another question on player preferences.

The first time I played poker in a casino there was a betting line, I remember very vividly that a player reached out over the line with chips and tapped the table like a check. He was required to...

Re: Complaining about the rake and getting told on by dealers......

well aside from complaining about the rake, you kept suggesting to people not to tip the dealers. You can't expect the dealers to want you sitting in their game making this suggestion.

In my room there is no penalty for moving away from the big blind, with the caveat that if you abuse this the floor will not allow you to move without posting.

In the three years that I have been...
