Re: Renewable Energy

Okay as someone who works in this industry (Electric Power and Relaibility), I feel an unnatural need to chime in.
Wind, Solar, Nuclear all need to be a part of the future of energy production in...

Re: How to add larger denominations earlier in a tourney

Well in the end we had 10 less players show up than RSVP'd (don't ask), but the structure was excellent. We went with the 2000 starting stacks and extremely low blinds 5/10 to start with 30 minute...

Re: How to add larger denominations earlier in a tourney

I convinced my buddy to go to 5,25,100,500 with a 2000 starting stack and blinds starting at 5/10.
I don't think we'll need to get the 1000 or higher chips in play at all.
Thanks for all the...

Re: How to add larger denominations earlier in a tourney

Believe me, I have tried to explain this to my friend. My suggestion was to start with exactly what PoWdA said, except using 3 500 chips to make 2500 stacks.

Instead he ignored my suggestion and...

Re: How to add larger denominations earlier in a tourney

The structure is going to be fast. My friend is hosting the event and it's gone from 27 players to 50 players this time around and he wants to keep the time reasonable. I guess we'll just deal with...

How to add larger denominations earlier in a tourney

I understand the coloring up process, but I can't find anywhere how to add a larger denomination chip into play prior to it's turn in the color up process.

ie, say I started with $5, $25, $100...

Re: Brag: New Car

AWD is not needed. Get snow tires instead. RWD with snows is much safer than AWD without them anyway.

Re: Kansas City: Lowest NL is 2-5, casino adding 1-2, what happens?

Thanks for the info.

If I'm lucky there will be others from this conference that will be playing as well, since many of them are horrible players (judging by their play last spring when we met...

Re: Distance from Paris to Venetian walkable?

First time in Vegas me and 4 buddies thought it would be a great idea to walk from MGM to the Stratosphere. About 2 hours later we got there. I felt bad for my one friend wearing sandals. He had...

Re: Busto in less than a week -- is this to be expected?

like runout_mick says, get over to PokerStars. Full Tilt doesn't offer low enough stakes for a $50 bankroll.

Don't get discouraged. When I first started I also went with $50 and donked it down...

Re: 1st Three Cards In 7-Stud
