Re: Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
i think you should definitely read TOP before you read 7CS4AP and also you may want to read chip reese's stud chapter in SS1 which is pretty good. but then just reread 7CS4AP lots!

Re: Stud8 - How to play a straight in this tricky spot?
i would lean towards folding on 4th as your drawing to a bad low and a 5 is dead. but i dont think calling is too bad considering the size of the pot and re-evaluating on 5th. but from 5th on i would...

Re: WCOOP H/L Kings up
i think there might be a case for folding 3rd as you have to call a full bet, there are still 2 low cards behind you to act, you don't have 2 flush/straight, your probably going to be acting first...

Re: Settle an argument (Stud8 3rd street decisions)
i would generally say no as you are against all 8b cards up, there is an ace up and you first to act. if the game is playing very tight i might play but generally i would fold as you hand will pretty...

Re: stud/8 hand for review
i'm leaning to bet/raise as seat 2 didn't bet on 4th when he got a 4 and didn't bet when he got the ace on 6th so i don't think he has a made low, maybe on a low draw on 6th. so you low maybe good. a...

Re: Correct in folding?
i probably would of folded on 3rd as one of the nines is dead and you dont have 2 flush, also the jack up has a probable pair of jacks and your kicker isn't an overcard.
