NL25 - Push/fold pf situation

Is it right to push here every time? I think so, but just checking... How big would his stack have to be for me to fold? Villain just joined the table so no reads.

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL...

Re: Post Flop Play - Passive Better Than Aggressive...discuss

I'm not sure I understand "However, most of the time in poker we have less than top-pair and I'm wondering if its often better to let people just bet their money off."

How can calling with less...

Re: NL100: KQ top 2

Well.. I [censored] up.

This was a friday night and a loose table. People were calling off stacks with TPWK. I decided I was committed with KQ even with that turn because I'd get called by a...

Re: NL100: KQ top 2

Nobody bets here? On the flop, your SPR was 4.4 against a loose player and you have top 2.

NL100: KQ top 2

Live game 9-handed. 2/2 NL with $100 max buyin.

Table is loose and villains are both LAGgy regulars. So they are LAGgy, but they certainly aren't fish.

Hero has $172
MP1 has $100
SB has...

Re: Hows my line with AA

I think the turn is clearly a small 1/3 pot bet. No big reason to protect your hand and he might stick around with a mid pair.

Re: $25NL: Is this a bad line with AK?

As played, I think you may be ahead of a flush draw.

1) he coldcalled pf (I'm sooted)
2) he check-called the flop
3) his turn bet is a semi-bluff in his mind.

Re: Did I miss the exit to valuetown?

I like betting the river.

You just aren't getting raised unless he flopped a royal. I see the line of check-call flop, check-call turn, (river blank) river c/r like never.

So the question is...

Re: NL200, monotone flop turns top 2

I would call. You are a about 50/50 against his range and are getting almost 2:1.

His range being made flush (not many of those considering pf), sets, weaker 2pair, and other hands you beat which...

Re: The hardest spot in micro stakes poker? JJ from the SB

I think most uNL villains are thinking about hand values before they are thinking that their stack is in jeopardy when they have $35 behind.

Re: The hardest spot in micro stakes poker? JJ from the SB

[ QUOTE ]
it is a RR's pot, betting 7$ is treatening villians entire stack!

The only reason for betting 9 is the FD and a need to protect your AK a wee bit.

But it is in no way weak.

Re: The hardest spot in micro stakes poker? JJ from the SB

I think betting $7 is weak. You are repping AK, and that means you need to bet at $9 or more with this board.

Re: Standard line against LAGgy player? 100NL live

shove is standard.

his stack is only about 3x the pot on the flop. you want to play for his stack with TPTK, especially since he is a LAG.

fortunatley for you he just committed himself so...

does stack a donk mean pushing the turn?

I would have checked or blocked $20 because of the draws.

Re: NL100 JJ

Normally this is a perfect board to c-bet with air.

I agree a check is ok here too but only because you have some small pot value.

I agree with a river call - looks to much like a missed FD. ...

It may or may not be dead on the turn. On the flop it is dead of course, but they also almost never have an Ace here.

Re: You are delt 88...

ok.. you said UTG was "very tight". so you are behind his range for sure. the best you can hope for is AK since he's only raising JJ+ and AK UTG.

so if by "loose" you mean that there is very...

Re: AK, lots of outs on dangerous turn, what\'s your line?

I would almost never c-bet that flop. Horrible flop for your hand, only thing worse might be a monotone black flop. JT on the flop connects with nearly every decent hand, plus theres a potential...

Haven't seen this but I'd buy it since I've noticed that she's pretty good with tells. She had Matt Matros's tells nailed on one show I saw.

this is why you push deep with AK. He's folding out the racing hands and chops.

but that's not you
