Preflop AJo in SB, cap or not after lotsa limpers + weird call/3bet?

MP1: 55/1.5/0.5 ~60 hands
MP2: 55/6/0.7 ~60 hands
MP3: 28/6/1 ~40 hands

Multitabling so reads a bit scant, I think I saw MP1 not raise AK once after one limper.

Re: 2-4: On Button w/54s, 5-way, Flush Draw, Heavy Action

Preflop is ok.

Flop, I like the raise in principle, pumping the multiway pot for the equity advantage. I'm not too sure if 3-betting and facing SB and EP1 with calling too is good. You wouldn't...

Re: KQ in BB, fold top pair?

Initially I thought nice hand, a good basic wa/wb line when OOP. I don't think was bad however I might do something differently.

You are way behind KK, JJ, AK, KJ. You are way ahead of QQ, TT and...

Re: QJs vs 3 tags

Well, that Q sits nicely in the cold-call range your opponents might put you on pretty often, IMO. So I think there's a chance they might be more wary of your raise than e.g. Tiltaholic...

Re: JTs river spot in biggish pot

* g *

I don't think he has - nor takes this line with - TT or AQ often enough to call here and AT or pocket pair <= 88 are even more unlikely.

Fold.

Then again the pot is so big that I think...

My main goal in posting the rest of the hand was that I wanted to see if you think check/calling or bet/folding this river is a good move or not. I personally feel that the pot is big...

Re: Big draw on the turn in big pot

Dunno about preflop, cap or call.

On the turn, your c/r has been called in five places. I doubt you are ahead here nor will you be able to significantly improve your chances of winning the pot by...

Re: To cap or not to cap.

[ QUOTE ]
Well, first of all it indeed doesn't matter all that much. However, pot is now 7BB (correct?). So if he just folds 14% that bet is fine. Second, if he calls, we still have decent equity,...

I think the flop is close between a call down and cap.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think this is close. Cap flop and you can call down if villain leads the turn. Don't worry about...

Re: huge pot, protect Q split pair, A kicker on flop

Concerning the turn decision:

(Btw, UTG+1 doesn't donk the turn, he was the last flop raiser/bettor. He leads the turn here.)

UTG, UTG+1, or CO probably do not have AA/KK here. None of them...

Definitely raise the flop and hope CO holds AK.

Against an unknown SB, I'd consider calling his 3-bet and raising on the turn.

I like this. SB's range has to be...

Re: Interesting flop situation with AT

Nice hand.

Slowplaying with two pairs is not my thing, in general. If your read was that CO is passive then your raise was good. I think CO still would have hanged around with AJ+ most of...

Re: AA late, paired board and opponent is betting

As above, I would fold the turn. The all-in BB could easily be ahead anyway, and after MP1 donks I can't imagine what you could beat.

Re: Two pair with three hearts on the board

* g *

Preflop: raise it vs the loose limper to isolate him. If your KT was suited limping would make more sense (luring blinds in for a multiway pot) but I would still raise for high card value.

Re: sudden river aggression

He has Jx like KJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif or something much more often than 54 or 44 or 22: raise and call the 3-bet. I give him enough credit not to cap.

Too few hands to think he is that...

Re: To cap or not to cap.

(Preflop is ok if the table is on the loose-side, esp the blinds.)

To the flop question:

(I'm not sure about leading the flop, although we'd like to bloat the pot here for our monster...

Re: AQ flop fold

OP, search and read on continuation bet. It's the bet you failed to make here.

Basically, it is often best to bet first-in again on the flop if you were the last preflop raiser whether you hit the...

Re: JJ

Preflop raise is good. You have a lot of limpers so you have lot of value in implied odds if you hit your set. Morever, JJ is strong enough to raise here in any case.

Flop. A continuation...

On the flop: I still see no reason to believe we don’t have the best hand, so I’m 3-betting. If anything, it’ll fold the BB who was the preflop raiser, and that may clear some ace-outs if...

Aww.. Are these guys aggressive preflop? If they are KQ and sets should be out of the question. So 87s, JT, and Ax/images/graemlins/diamond.gif are the only combos you are behind now.

Very standard. Very very standard. nh

I would call down a turn raise. I call a river raise too so river is b/c. You have too little hands on the BB to assume he really is that passive so...

Re: Do you always give them credit?

Call-down, in addition to the flush, 87 just got a straight.

He could have been slowplaying a lower set too, some of the time, or hit 99, or J9 but if a passive player raises I just call-down...

About calling down, Villain's possible combos against OP's estimate of his 3-bet range.

AK - 12
AQ - 9
AA - 3
KK - 6
QQ - 3
JJ - 6
TT - 6
