Re: jokes you\'ve made IRL that flopped

This one also did not go over well with the intended audience.

A friend and I were in an elevator before class. A few girls who were also in the class got in the elevator at the next floor. My...

Re: jokes you\'ve made IRL that flopped

A close friend was involved in a relationship with a married woman. After weeks of begging for anal sex, she finally obliged. As they concluded, she made her way to the bathroom and said "Oh God...

Re: Walk me through opponents action - NL 25

lol, that's probably actually pretty close to the real villain.

Re: NL25 AKs deep in 3bet pot

I call all three streets and expect to see AK, AQ, AJ here a lot.

I really like your line, even if he shows up with the winner.

Re: Walk me through opponents action - NL 25

Seems like a 9 to me. On the flop, the lead call seems like a 9 or weak K. When he leads the turn, he is either hoping you don't raise (he has a K) or is trying to induce a raise (he has a 9).

Re: 3 Bet pot with straight draw

Or the times you flop a J or Q and lose a medium-large sized pot.

Unless you are content with check calling down with top pair, preflop is spew.

Re: NL25 KK on Ace and FD flop

Wrong. His calling range does not define his hand at all.

Earlier you said you wouldn't bet against a player that calls only with an Ace. Why not bet against that player? We know exactly where...

Re: 3 Bet pot with straight draw

Preflop and turn are spew, flop is standard.

Re: NL25 KK on Ace and FD flop

I don't know what villains you are playing here... Not many call two barrels without the ace here. Betting for value seems like turning our hand into a bluff.

Anyone who says this is dumb move from profish, should start think out of the box sometime.
I can see reason why he 3bet pf Q/J
And for this reason i think allin on the turn its not bad...

Re: NL25 KK on Ace and FD flop

Because when he calls and we don't fire a second barrel, a lot villains pot the river leaving us a real dilemma.

Re: flopped str8 on very drawy board

Bet 7-8 on the turn. Don't let the top pair or even 2nd pair hero callers get away.

Re: NL25 KK on Ace and FD flop

Check flop. Check call down. You're inducing bluffs and keeping the pot small.

Re: TPGK deep OOP 50max

c/c or c/f the turn. you're oop with a hand that is dominated a lot. Keep the pot small with your hand.

Re: QQ against laggy villian, ne1 call here??

You can call here and win a small % of the time and those times will make you feel like a genius. Most of the time, however, you'll look up the winning hand.

Fold. BTW, I think he whiffed check...

Re: [50NL] QQ vs A-high board

Check fold on every street. If he doesn't have an Ace, he certainly has KK here, made a set with 1010 or a badly played JJ. Fold.

Re: Turn two pair, gross river

Hand is played fine. Preflop, I call with any two vs. a frequent stealer. Their range often cannot withstand a raise on either the flop or turn. Additionally, this type of player will often fire...

Re: How much to bet on this River - NL25 Full House

Checking allows people to bluff when they won't call.

Checking allows flushes, trip aces to bet and commit themselves when you raise.

If you just bet, you will not get raised here often unless...

Re: 3 Bet pot with straight draw

Sure, he may fold JJ, QQ etc. However, his range is heavily skewed towards a king given the action. You are basically sticking it in here on the turn with a 20% chance to win. You are not getting...

Re: 3 Bet pot with straight draw

Why would you bet here? You have very little fold equity considering he called two bets already. I don't see villain folding often here.

Re: NL50 - 3bet pot - 4 way

Betting and giving odds? Half pot gives the opponent 3:1 on his money. With a naked flush draw he needs 5:1 or implied odds.

How is checking better? lol Giving him a freebie to draw rather than...
