Re: Tough spot w/Set multi way 200 BB deep

I think an argument can be made for donk betting - but if you get reraised by the UTG raiser (as in this case), can we put him only on sets or pair+OESD? Overpairs do make up a good portion of his...

Re: Tough spot w/Set multi way 200 BB deep

Since my line looks strong, can there be an argument for bet/fold flop? What about flop lead? My goal was to get the dead money, and when he reraised I had the bells going off in my head.

No other...

Tough spot w/Set multi way 200 BB deep

Villain is 24/16/3 over 500 hands. My image at table is 25/20 and aggressive.

Curious to hear people's lines and what to make of this. Villain is solid, and his call/reraise through me off....

Re: TPGK - Loose Villain Overbets Blank River

I don't understand how you could find a call here at all. He could have had a set going for check raise on the flop, or a draw. Either way, I can't think you'd be good often enough with KJ here to...

Re: AQ Blind vs Blind Got 4bet

I don't think he four bets with AJ or worse. He may do this with TT-JJ at worst for pairs. I think fold and find a better spot. It's blind versus blind and continuing is spew IMHO.

Re: 100nl: top pair ok kicker on turn

Gross, got called in two spots and one spot by a nit. I'm sure on average ck/fold isn't a bad line. If you bet you're playing a big pot and you don't know what position. Pick a better spot.

$100 NL QQ overpair what to do

Villain is 24/20/2.5 300. Plays fairly well and gets out of line sometimes with small overpairs and AK missed in 3 bet pots. I think his range here is AK and sets and overpairs to the board.

Re: $100 nl - AK line check

Yeah I felt silly not betting the turn. What about the flop bet sizing? Do we ever find a fold to the c/raise? So often the c/raise is either a set or a poorly played draw. I thin it's never KQ...

$100 nl - AK line check

Villain is 34/16/2 over 50 hands. Has not played any big pots yet. Please comment on line taken and better ways perhaps to play.

Thanks!

$100 nl - line check

Villain who limped and cold called the 3bet is 35/6/1, villain in sb is unknown.

Preflop I reraised to isolate the SB. This is one of the better flops I can see when we end up seeing a flop.

Re: $100 nl - fold overpair?

It's funny because I figured folding the flop would be okay against this guy specifically. Not sure in practice how many people do find a fold on the flop, but seems like an okay idea, the worst hand...

$100 nl - fold overpair?

Villain 15/12/3 420 hands

Haven't seen him get out of line ever. I assume this is the easiest laydown ever. Forgot to put in reads. I guess flopped set makes most sense. I don't think he'd just...

Re: 400NL, QTs hit 2pr on very coordinated board

Is the fish holding a mirror?

The preflop call is pretty bad IMHO vs his range. On the flop, when he 3 bets I think you're crushed by his reraising range here. I think felting with KQ here is a...

Re: $100 NL set - raise turn or give rope?

I agree to get all the chips in the middle on the turn.

What about the first question. Is calling the reraise with 13-1 almost too close? I prefer getting 16-1 or better usually if calling for...

$100 NL set - raise turn or give rope?

Villain is 23/13/1.5 50 hands.

Preflop: I called the reraise with 13.5-1 implied odds. However, is this too tight to call? Should I go for 17/18-1 implied odds instead?

I put him on AK AQ...

$100 nl - fold kings yes?

No stats on Villain yet. Anyone read his hand for trips or a boat? I think here it's an easy fold. How about if the turn bricks and he leads, is that also a fold?

$100 nl - Flame me

No stats on Villain yet. Typically I snap call this. But the betting pattern in the hand makes me think he did hit his flush. I don't see what worse hand pushes the river.

Typically I make the...
