Re: ; / :) ) ) )

On the turn, villain most likely has you beat - especially considering his range of hands. He's probably caught a piece of the board with a Queen, or a Ten, or maybe has a pocket pair.

That said,...

What sites do you guys recommend now?

For obvious reasons, I'm done with Party.

I'm a Canadian, and I've never had an account on any site except Party or Stars. This leaves me free to sign up for rakeback anywhere.

What sites do...

Re: Defend against PartyPoker - mass mail revolt (PLEASE HELP)

100% Cashout done and done.

My reasons:

1) I've only ever stayed at Party because of the rakeback

2) I want to be amongst the early cash-outs seeing as Party may have a difficult time...

The answer is obvious: Tony doesn't die.

The next person to walk through the door is obviously Meadow ... then they all sit down for a nice family dinner. Their lives go "on and on and on and on...

IIRC she's older than him by a decent margin and he's not that bad looking, unless you're thinking of somebody else.

Re: Did Villain Make a MIstake in This Hand?

I'm not sure why you posted the hand like this. It biases the responses.

You should have simply posted the hand from the villain's perspective.

Re: KK vs. TAG, AQx flop

I like it.

Adam theres no way u still think its a fold do u?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I do.

I admit it's a close call either way, but I believe it's a fold here.

This may seem like a nit, but it's a significant point.

There would be 5.5 big bets in the pot. Take away the rake and we're only getting just over...

Yes, if he has AA, no diamond, we are in BIIIIIIIIIIG trouble with 11 outs. And if he has AK, no diamond, we are in BIIIIIIIIIIG trouble with 75% equity.

nits, Ahigh 3handed is the nuts

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree there's no question about raising preflop.

However, A-high (or a pair of 3's) is not necessarily winning on this board.

Re: Overpair faces heat

Tough spot.

The only potential place I can find a different play would be to fold the flop when it's two back to you. SB has just capped and it's not like his aggro factor is 2.5.

With all the...

People may hate this, but I think the turn is a fold.

You say villain is a TAG and you respect his 3-bet. This means the only hand you're likely ahead of it AK with a single diamond here - maybe...

Re: TT UTG vs LPP in blinds

Cap preflop is bad against this opponent. (His PFR is only 9%).

As for the flop, I simply call.

Remember this guy is a little aggro post-flop. I think it would be good to re-evaluate on the...

Re: KK in huge pot vs. Lpp\'s

There's still one very important point that I forgot to mention regarding the river play:

Hero is not closing the action.

This means it could cost Hero up to 4 more BB's to see a showdown...
