Re: Trouble with pocket pairs

Hand 1 is strictly knowing the opponents for me. Playing it blind I like to check/raise the flop if it can isolate otherwise I call and consider a check/raise on the turn.

Bottom line though, I...

Re: SB Special: value bet or check raise?

clearly you bet here considering the way it was played.

The flop bet wasn't something I would have done.

Re: QQ on AKx flop (shorthanded)

bet and peel one for me if I get raised(maybe I might just toss it) Coin flip. If its called I check and fold ui on the turn.

Two queen outs are useless practically, 4 10's (and one of these may...

Re: Is micro limit poker or just a crapshoot?

Sadly yes and that is the level where I have to decide if I am good enough to continue. Luckily for me I haven't run into to many players that respect their cash at the levels I play at so I am quite...

Re: A4s BDFD

That's fine if you don't have to pay to play the draw but this flop was bet.

Guys lose more than they win here by hoping for the ace more often than not.

Re: Stars 1/2 - AA 3 way vs a lot of action

Why is raising AA a potentially bad thing?

In my experience, playing AA passively is acceptable only when you have significant information on either the players in question or the hand...

Re: A4s BDFD

A4s is looking for wheels, nut flush and two pair holdings in a large multiway pot.

Your Ace is a bad draw actually since it costs a lot of money when you hit and are outkicked and pays little...

Re: Raise to protect T top pair on a 3 flush flop?

I have no problem at this level playing a10 utg in fr for a raise, heck its great training for 6 max.

its loose sure but hands like these are great for learning.

Obviously someone could have...

Re: Anybody play this AQs differently? 6max

Interesting I am getting read the riot act when I wrote more than BBB did earlier.

Ironic I just got berated in another post for being too long winded.

Guess its not only fat comedians who get...

Re: Stars 1/2 - AA 3 way vs a lot of action

I think I stated it pretty clearly. The pot is capped preflop, that changes what people play with usually. A 3 flush board, especially when one is a king isn't soemthing to concern myself with. Sure...

Actually I am since I post for me and really couldn't care less if someone thinks this is useful for them or not.

If they have questions as to why I posted this they are free to do so.

Re: Stars 1/2 - AA 3 way vs a lot of action

Bottom line in a preflop capped pot slowing down because a flush holding of diamonds hits the turn is costing you money more often than it is saving you bets to lose.

It is imperative to forget...

Re: donk in EP with strong draw, on turn ?

If the board pairs and I have reraised the flop not too many straight and flush holdings are playing through. They may call but you get to see the river if need be rather inexpensively and will not...

Re: donk in EP with strong draw, on turn ?

Not I. Building a pot on the turn when you need 1 of 4 to break even if your draw is even good is not something I generally suggest. Being you have a shot at the nuts however and being 4th to act in...

Re: To move up...

i don't advocate multi tabling until you are really solid with how you are playing. Micro's aren't about amassing cash they are about learning how to play the game.

When you are very solidly in...

Re: Stats Post, 10K Hands on Stars 0.25/0.50 and 0.50/1.00

Aggro issues are apparent, I still think 20k hands are better to determine leaks but in this case I would do more studying of my positional play and determine for myself if and what adjustments I am...

Re: Blinds, damn blinds...

I think I said semi passive as in SLPA. I would raise preflop

Check/call the flop and check/raise the turn against this type of opponent.

Anyone who limps 3 times more than they raise is...

Re: Oh Noe! A vet posts an AA hand...and it has maths 4 u 2 do

What I don't understand about c/c is what card comes on the river that helps you?

If I were playing you and you slowed down here I would bet with any two cards.

Are you saying you have the odds...
