Re: Step 4: Whats your shoving range?

My initial reaction was that this push seemed kind of nutty. But given Timex's reputation, and given I'm been meaning to try to learn how to use SitNGo Wizard for the steps, I threw this scenario...

Any tips on how you approached this / observations at the different steps / times of day or week that seemed better to play / other advice you can share?

Re: Check raise good here or costly

With a coordinated drawy flop like this, some limpers (who are perhaps more likely to have caught a piece / have a draw), and a loose bigstack guy who's likely to call down bets with a piece of the...

Re: 2.2 PS Sat to Sun $100K

reads on button? does he limp a lot? if so i prob push preflop, unless he's a calling station preflop.

overpush on these things often means a draw - i prob call and hate it, but i'd much rather...

Re: QQ in EP in $10/45 turbo

Not sure I understand the question about being afraid of A8 specifically, but big stack has been willing to call with two overs / draws.

Thus the A is a scare card, then the completed flush also...

Pushbotting & premium hands...

Hand below is an example from a 10/45 turbo. I've been in pushbot mode, have pushed twice in the last 2 orbits with no calls. Table is generally playing very loose otherwise.

In a situation like...

QQ in EP in $10/45 turbo

Villian's been in 50% of hands, and showing down good cards often, calling down bets with draws and catching up. I've been a total nit / card dead, watching half the players pushing on level 1 and 2...

Re: PCA step 1 hand - line check

I should have asked this question to start: what range does one put villian on with the minraise, and no real reads on villian play on a step 1? Only "read" is that OPR put villian at 60% at low...

PCA step 1 hand - line check

Comments on all streets? Villian had been fairly tight. I had been catching cards and over betting pots only showing once, so I probably look like a total lagtard.

Re: Steps on Stars

I'd guess it'd be largely driven by how the higher steps play - can people comment on how the 2s play vs 1s, 3s vs 2s, etc.?

Luck / running goot also has a lot to do with it. I'm 4 for 6 in 1's...

Re: Steps on Stars -- feedback requested

As a low limit player if I had to choose one over the other I'd choose 6a. But don't see a problem with you keeping both running and letting the player population decide.

Echo the comments re:...

Re: Satellite strategy question... how do you play this?

McMelchior - is that really true? You're suggesting one needs to shoot for an avg chip stack as the bubble approaches, but with an avg chip stack, more than half of the field will be in worse shape...

Re: Folding TT and alike hands after raising preflop
