What OS are you running? If Vista, are you running PT and Poker Grapher using the "Run as Administrator" option?
You should not have to search for your username. If you have PT set up correctly...

It doesn't. It reads your registry (the PT registry keys) to determine your PT DBs. It has nothing in it that requires internet access.

Try the demo for 1000 hands and see what you think about it. Personally, I find way more info in PT than I can use. But maybe I'm just not sharp enough to know what I'm looking at.

Make sure you run the poker site, PT, AND PokerGrapher using the "Run as Admin" option. Poker Grapher should see everything that's in your PT DBs.

Are you running Vista? Has your PT set up changed recently?
Re-start Poker Grapher and filter for today's hands. Can you see them? If PT imported them, then Poker Grapher should see them.
