Re: New CardRunners website to launch tomorrow

The site still won't let me login. I get a incorrect username/password error - I am sure it is correct.

Username: angavar

I'm in Australia if that matters.

Re: NL 100: AA Turn Fold

I always feel weak folding against donks in situations like this.

But most of the time when I talk myself into a call, I regret it. I think a fold is good here without a more accurate read.

Re: Turned my set, now do I fold? 100NL

Sorry, yeah MP folded. Must have edited that out when I removed the results.

I think I knew it was a call once I raised.

I guess the question then is, should I just call the turn bet? That...

Re: Turned my set, now do I fold? 100NL

I feel like my hand is face up as a set or better here, so if villain is solid (as per current read) he shouldn't be raising 2 pair here. Right?

Turned my set, now do I fold? 100NL

Villain is 20/17/3 and seems reasonably solid. The only hand I have seen him show down, he raised A5o from the button, both blinds called. He checked behind flop and turn when he flopped trips. So I...

QQ underpair in 3bet pot OOP - 100NL

Sorry if this is kind of basic but I felt a bit lost.

When a good player calls your 3 bet from the button and an overcard flops, what is the line?

Check-call and check-fold seem wrong on the...

Re: Party Regs Thread

I am buabhaill, figured I'd contribute when I saw the hand below posted.

I have felt like I have been playing really badly (weak-tight, I have Fgators like W$WSF% and winrate) the last few days....

Re: River play with overpair

[ QUOTE ]
bet-fold like $27 plz.

check-call sucks, he's not betting Jx and there's no hands he can bluff with.

I think this is the best line (I just wanted to be sure I wasn't...

Re: 100NL, AT becomes TPTK

It hurt my eyes trying to read this post.

It doesn't list who you are, or what your cards are.

Assuming you are Krobbus and have ATo, I would lead the flop instead of c/r, and check/call the...

River play with overpair

I have been questioning a lot of my river decisions recently. Here is an example:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter...

Re: 200NL, 77, and this is why i don\'t move up

[ QUOTE ]
i dunno, why are you raising 77 in the sb? doesn't most of the value from 77 come from sets? wouldn't you want to keep a lot of people in the pot to cooler? aren't you in a terrible...

Re: 200NL JJ prf 3bet, K high flop

There's a raise and a call preflop before it gets to hero. So I think raise size is fine. $26-28 when there is already $18 in the pot is too small imo.

Re: 3 barrell bluff...where did I go wrong?

I think preflop and flop are ok.

Firing the turn again when the King comes is also ok. I don't think you have to pot it though.

The big mistake in the hand is betting the river. After he calls...

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread JUNE PT 2

Just finished one of my most frustrating sessions. Not much money lost, but just couldn't get a hand.

Re: 200PS: 350BB-pot with TPTK

Against a TAG with no history, I think this is a fold on the turn.

It's hard to put him on a hand from utg, but at best we are splitting. I can't see him playing a lower ace like this, unless it...

Re: Can I fold a set here?

This needs to go in the full ring forum.

I think folding a set at a full table is probably more common than folding one at 6 max, so the guys there should be able to give you better advice.

In...

Re: Study Group - FINAL LIST - please check!!!

I've already mentioned it in a pm, but I'm also in Australia, so if there was an Aussie group started I'd like to be in it.

Thanks

Also play Crypto, FTP and Stars if those need numbers.

Re: Playing sets in a limped pot

I don't know what you expected. You have enough posts to know that this is the wrong forum for a 50NL hand, and you should also know that no one is going to advocate folding here.

You should feel...

Re: Stupid ? - Datamining on PokerTracker

Stars don't allow you to datamine.

There may be software that gets around it, but Stars wouldn't like it I think.

Re: A new (to me) AA preflop line that I like

Don't you want him to think that you have AK? I can't see him calling with AJ+, KQ given the action, so all you really want is to get a call from 99+. If a push will make him put you on AK, then this...
