Re: $16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

I'm still not really convinced about what to do here. I put UTG on a range slightly above 20%, keep in mind the HUD stats are mostly from the t400 and t200 blind levels.

$16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

UTG had been active on the bubble, 20/35 over the last 35 hands
BTN is a nit, 9/3 over 35 hands

Re: $16 - A5 help to eliminate?

Do those reads contradict each other or is there a typo?

A stop n go is where you commit yourself by calling preflop and then push any flop in the hope for more fold equity then just shoving over preflop. This...

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

I like that one a lot less. It's just too marginal to be worth pushing 14BBs without antes. Best case scenario it's going to be around +0.3 %EV, usually it's less. Unlike the 1st hand you don't gain...

I like how you played it, nh. Make a note if he is value betting the nuts so weakly.

Re: AQo on the bubble

When you bust out 4th you will lose ~1.5 times as much money (EV) than what you would gain by winning the all in. So you need ~60% equity, against his range you only have ~53% equity.

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

I think the number of people defending/advocating AQo as a correct call is pretty sad actually.

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push

I push this and would even be happy with slightly -EV according to ICM. The stacksizes after a successful steal here give you a significant advantage and will more than make up for this marginal push...

I was working on a system a while ago to do rough ICM calculations quickly. It only worked for calling and you had to memorize a table of numbers as well as know range vs range equities in your head....

Dominic Parillo is fisheater11's alter ego. My first clue was that they share similar grammatical shortcomings.

Re: $16 - QQ raise or push preflop?

[ QUOTE ]

You could raise it to 400 (so a raise of 300 more). Then if MP2 shoves, and if the button calls you can then shove over. A raise to 525 forgoes the chance of shoving over a button call...

#4 fold (UTG isn't a decent SnG player)
#5 raise to 200
#6 push

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested

The 100/200/25 level is awesome. It's the same amount of chips in the pot 6-handed as 150/300 so I don't see what the fuss is about. We're all used to the structure the way it is and if it ain't...
