Re: 25NL Flush on Turn how to proceed?

I check yet again, although you need to CR semi bluff the flop IMO. Let him keep bluffing here, if he's aggro, he'll bet.

Re: Told you I was running bad

Has he ever made any play even slightly resembling a line like this in the past?

You have to betmore on the flop. This board is WAY too draw heavy for a 1/2 pot bet.

Turn bet is good. Then he...

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

I'm a little curious about your bet size on the river.

I'm not so sure that checking would be a good idea, and praying that he tries to steal the pot, but I think weak leading here may have a...

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

This is tricky. I seriously have no idea. I would say his stats definitely suggest this is a fold, but you two sound like you have quite a bit of history.

But I also think this can be a bluff...

Re: 25nl: turn trips, get checkraised

[ QUOTE ]
you guys are all way too excited to 3-bet in position with marginal hands at small stakes. unless you have a significant equity edge which you must be expoiting preflop, it is very often...

Re: [50NL] T7, two pair on A turn vs TAG

Iīm not super happy about the situation, but I canīt imagine folding here. Also, you HAVE to 3-bet the flop here so stacks donīt end up awkward on the turn... like they did here.

Re: 25NL - how should I have played JJ?

post flop is fine, but you have to 3-bet this pre all day long.

Re: Shocking AK hand, be gentle...

I'm sort of shocked nobody has advocated bet/folding the river? This seems like a much better line to me since we are never good when raised, but plenty of hands would call a bet that would have...

Re: NL25 AK and the evil clubs

I CR the flop personally against someone this aggressive.

If not, then I sure as hell CR the turn when he bets like that. IMO he doesn't seem loose enough to have AJc, and the only hands that...

Re: Weak leads (way too late pooh-bah?) tl;dr

xiticator, you don't seem to understand what a weak lead is.

A WEAK LEAD is not a donk bet.

A weak lead CAN be a donk bet, but isn't necessarily. A weak lead is a play used OOP, usually used...

Re: 25NL: do you ever fold this spot? (weak flush)

CR the turn and ship it on the river. Against this type of opponent you will almost always be good here.

Re: 50NL: I almost always fold my overpair to this turn heat

Theoretically, this is a fold but I wouldn't make too much of a habit of folding overpairs at 50NL like this. Against this particular opponent who has fairly easy to read stats, this seems like a...

Re: NL25 Queens on low board

River bet is very very bad IMO. Nothing you beat calls your bet if villian has 1/2 a brain, which it looks like he does.

Bet 1/2 pot and let him pay you off with JJ/99

Re: Is this too nitty preflop - AQ?

AQ to a 3-bet when you are OOP is bad news most of the time.

Re: NL25- AKo misses in 3 bet pot

Honestly I think the preflop line is bad for this exact reason. Either raise more so you are comitted to ANY flop, or just call and try to trap him since he is so aggressive.

Re: QQ - 50 NL, Raise, Call, reraise, my action?

15 or so? That makes it expensive enough that AK/AQ hands aren't getting good enough odds to draw, but wouldn't necessarily scare off JJ/TT type hands that we want to stack.

Re: QJ - turned straight, standard? 50NL

Looks fine IMO but you should include some kind of read with your hands.

Re: NL50: Call raise preflop and flops TPGK. Villain cbets.

Barring a specific read, I don't think calling preflop is a good idea here against a pretty standard TAG.

As played, call the flop, keep the pot small, and try to milk him on the river if the...

Re: TP turned into rivered trips on a scary board... did I lose value?

[ QUOTE ]
Just b/f turn. As played you can probably just shove the river. His calling range > betting range imo and you can't c/f.

[/ QUOTE ]

What do we do on the river if villian calls the...

Re: QQ - 50 NL, Raise, Call, reraise, my action?

I would consider 4 betting preflop for sure. If SB is loose and likely to pay off with a weak overpair on a raggedy flop or with an AJ type hand on a Jxx flop, I'm much more likely to reraise and...

Re: TP turned into rivered trips on a scary board... did I lose value?

Pot the flop. Too many draws and scare cards to only bet 2/3 pot IMO.

Also, if villian is very aggressive I would CR the flop and do my best to get us commited going into the turn.

With...

Re: new to 50NL... is this correct?

Preflop is very bad unless villian is so LAG that you are actually trying to trap him here with QJo.

QJ is a bad hand to call a raise with because it has terrible reverse-implied odds, it is a...

Re: 777 OOP - Multi way

There are WAY too many scare cards and draws on the turn in order to not make a close to PSB. So you definitely should have done that.

I still haven't made up my mind about the flop. I...
