Re: NL25: KK - Good preflop fold? Just kidding What is the river decis

it is the hero who bets 1/3 pot tho, not villain. still tho, i see your point, villain doesnt have enough to make hero fold to CRAI

nl50, TPNK in unraised pot, general strat question

general question here, with an example.

You are BB, you check after the limpers, and u flop TP with no kicker on a drawy board. No real reads on most of them, but a couple are regulars, solid...

i agree with sounded simple, there aren't many worse hands that call.

Re: AK oop in raised & called preflop play, goes AI preflop

hmmmm... i dont like this line very much.... they are short, but still ~50 blinds.

Why not make a more standard 3bet, hands you are even money against, or completely dominate, may call. You can...

Re: 25nl - Top, top, 2 tone flop. Turn makes straight and I get minrai

you're definitely beaten.... i would check behind on the turn and call a half pot bet on the river. when you call the turn raise then what is your plan for river? you don't really have a draw to...

Re: 25NL set of 7s

bet more on flop so that when they miss you get more value... unlucky if he made it this time, but as some1 said above, bet, bet, bet and you'll win money in this situation in the long run

50nl, set of 5s, how\'s my line?

villian is 45/0/0.4 over a mere 20 hands. thats my only read. i had been quite active with vpip of ~30.

nothing too out of the ordinary here, i just want to know how i did.

Poker Stars,...

Re: 46s hits trips on flop; 3 bets flop, but gets raised

we play 46s to make a hand like this and break an overpair... i call this all day long, its an absolutely perfect situation to be in against this type of player.

as for preflop, limping suited...

Re: FR Theory: KTs on the button, 3 limpers in front

it depends... if i think some of them will fold then i'll raise to about $3.50 and try and play HU against one of them.

If they regularly limp and then call a raise OOP then i'll probably just...

Re: 25NL TPTK against 3 streets of betting

i would probably raise that flop bet... 1/2 pot donk bets often indicate a draw.. not in this case, but without knowing results, i would pop it on flop

Re: 25NL - Too weak? QQ facing weird 5x pot size bet on flop

odd behaviour. u could call, but that pretty much commits you. I don't see this being the play with 77/33 tho, so i think are likely ahead.

Re: Trying to move from LHE to NL - winning small pots and losing big

it looks good, apart from the river, i would also have just checked behind. "milk" bets open u up to the possiblity of being bluffed and the only hand u beat is KJ...

Also, the bet sizing... PF...

Re: NL10 flushdraw+ weak onepair w/ 4-to-straight on board, oop

personally, i dont like blocking bets... they are obvious and vulnerable to exploitation.

Against two opponents in this spot, and that board, i would check call with good implied odds to avoid...

Re: NL50 flop bottom 2 against tighty in limped pot

You are likely to have the best hand, he probably has some sort of ace, but bottom 2 is very vulnerable and its hard to know where you are OOP against Ax. i like to take it down here with a good...

personally, i like to steal the blinds at any given opportunity, though its tough to steal off a laggy BB and often not worth the effort

TAGs r easy to steal from, but its not a good flop for...

Re: Why do we steal with Axs?

Re: 25NL: AK on BTN. Decent read or weak play?

i think your 3bet should be stronger, at least $3. this could force SB to fold AQ, AK, or any medium pair, perhaps even JJ

at 25nl its unlikely that MP2 has less than QQ, especially with those...
