He floated me 2 or 3 times before this hand and I chickened out every time and folded to his...

Sorry if this is standard:

CO (25/12) raises to 4BB and it is folded to you in the BB. What is your calling range, what is your 3betting range?

Re: 100NL; Arag with TP facing 1/2 pot on river vs. unknown

Right, so we'd like to bet the turn if he has a draw (which is obv. superior to letting him bluff a missed draw) {33-44 and diamonds: approx. 20 combinations}, and check if he has a pair {66-TT: 30...

Re: 100NL; Arag with TP facing 1/2 pot on river vs. unknown

[ QUOTE ]
i think check behind the turn is standard and is alot better than bet/folding here

[/ QUOTE ]

Why? Bet turn/check river behind is simply interchanging the action getting more value...

Re: [100nl] TT vs a LAG

[ QUOTE ]
I thought about 3betting preflop but Villain is likely to call and I end up OOP in an inflated pot.

Re: AA - Pot control OOP vs TAG

[ QUOTE ]
I like the stack-a-donk line on this hand, mostly because most TAGs are raising the flop with 66, 77, 67, JJ, whatever > 1 pair. Once you get to the turn a whole lot of rivers are going...

Re: 200NL - Do you like my bluff?

Thanks for the constructive criticism, I'll 'tell a story' next time.

I thought floating was superior to raising the flop as it gives me the additional information of him checking to me, for the...
