Re: Don\'t come home until u is sobern! (NC Thread)

Due to Tyler's bellyaching, you should change his current title, to the same, but put horse in front of it, due to his love of horseaments. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: NL25 - Flopped trips in BB vs Flush

Raise flop more IMO. The flush draw makes it kind of drawy, maybe make it $5.

Re: NL10 tptk+nfd: stack off or fold?

First of all, AQ is a hand that plays poorly multiway. You're definitely flat call with 55 or T9s because these play best multiway. While the AQ is suited, it's still better to take the value now,...

Re: QJs vs 3 tags

Flop is the easiest raise in the world to hopefully take it down right then and there. Preflop is marginal but okay as long as the table is generally pretty loose as a rule.

Re: Can I ever fold here?

Set over set is so rare, and it's $4 NL, you did fine. Just rebuy and move on. Oh, actually rebuy to $4 to start. That's the only thing you did wrong.

wook,

go ahead and work the threesome angle. it's the best shot you'll ever have at it, and if you're gonna have the ol' premarital sex, you might as well do it right.

AK rivered two pair NL10

Villain is 55/9/1.93 over 66 hands.

I called the river figuring there's a good chance he rivered a worse two pair.

Re: sudden river aggression

Easy call here, Figure him to have something like JT and not realize that his 2 pair is counterfitted. Player is bad enough pre-flop though that he could have a 4. A raise, call might be a better...

Re: Semi-OT: Hourly rate and rake, check my calculations?

is 2BB/100 at 3/6 4 tabling sustainable? I thought the games were supposed to be quite tough.

Re: Is this a spewy call? NL10 bottom two pair on monochrome flop

What about raising the river, since it is a smaller bet than his turn, could he have bet this with a king, and now be trying to block bet?

Overpair raised on the flop. NL10

Villain is an 18/14/6 tag with 65 hands.
Don't really have any notes on his play, but he has shown down twice, with top pair or better. The first hand was /w AA and it he shoved ($6 more) when...

Re: 25NL- 3 way pot; nut OESD; feedback please!

Fold preflop, I don't like playing OOP if I don't have to. Fold flop the first time.

Re: J3

Cap the flop. If the villain is UTG, AJ is quite likely. SB is likely taking a shot at the pot with a 3 or a 7, hoping to take it down.

Another line you could take, is c/r the turn and call a...

Re: huge pot, protect Q split pair, A kicker on flop

Cap preflop for value, even if the 3-bettor has TT, JJ AK, or even QQ you're still profiting from the cap.

Flop is an easy 3-bet for value, they could be doing this with flush draws, a weaker...

Re: AJo 5$ NL, Top pair facing action

Fold preflop, you're too easily dominated, and hands he will 3-bet you with have you badly beat.

Re: NL10: a blind v. blind hand

Bet-fold the turn I think. And the way you played it, I fold the river, but if you bet the turn and he calls, a block river bet sounds okay. The pot would be $5 if you bet 1.5 on the turn so bet 2...

Re: Dun wanna miss a value bet on the river, with top T pair, mid kick

Don't forget the backdoor straight draw which is worth like .5-1 outs.
