Re: 50NL - 33, how awful is this? fold flop?

I've said it before, don't be fooled by min-raises. Sure it's easy to make the flop call, but what are you going to do on the turn if you don't spike a 3? Fold on the flop and move on.

Re: 50NL: I almost always fold my overpair to this turn heat

I think the fold is fine here, but I really disagree that this isn't KQs a lot. I agree that it's not KK or AK and I'm fairly doubtful it's a set, but given villains AF, he very well could be smooth...

Re: 25NL: do you ever fold this spot? (weak flush)

Munkey, are you making an argument then it's better to just shove the flop given villain's stack size, instead of raising to $9 and calling a shove or getting it in on the turn?

Re: Blindfight -> trips on the flop

Yeah, I'm raising this flop all day long. You need o try and take it down right now and if you can't do that at least get some information thats going to allow you to play the turn and river a...

Re: 50NL- top pair?

Yeah good fold. Don't get tricked into calling those min-raises with TPish type hands. What are you going to do on the turn unless you spike something great like a Q (which by the way you could...

Re: AA in reraised pot NL50

reads? I'm not sure if this is a 'must stack off situation'.. forget that the river is a 9 and think about what you are beating on the turn - QQ and KK. Anything else has you crushed. Without...

Re: AK, AQ, AJ s are leaking! There is water all over the place!

Hand #1: I think I can fold when villain shoves. I really think the best you are getting out of an A or K hitting on average is to break even (you are really only getting a lot of value from QQ-JJ...

Re: Insane run of cards

well statistically, taking KK to showdown with a random hand 9x, I should lose just over ~2x no? I believe only 3 of the 9 got to a showdown which I won 100% of and the other 6, villains either...

Insane run of cards

Last night I played a short session (300) hands and ran beyond hot.

In 300 hands I had AA 4x, KK 9x, AKs x2 that turned into nut flushes, a 2nd nut flush and 2 boats.

I was playing 4-tables -...

Re: 50NL: Just giving up in 3b pot when cb is called

I agree with Matrix here. How is this a wet flop given villains stats and the pf action? If this is what you consider a wet flop, what are you waiting for 925o?

Assuming I haven't looked spewy...

Re: NL50: KK rr pot, villain probably thinks I\'m FOS

I would definitely bet the turn here and call a shove.

Re: TPTK OOP, villain seems unconcerned

I like a bet here of $8-$10.. I would fold to a shove with no read.

Re: KK vs short stack

I would bet more on the flop. I think I call here, but folding really isn't bad IMO.

BEST case scenario is AQ here.. but this really looks like QQ or JJ to me more than anything.

Re: $25nl Can I semibluff the turn after checking the flop here?

I would bet more on the turn - around $10.

I'm shutting down on the river.

Re: 25NL range query

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not a big fan of 3betting this PF due to position. On the button I would 3bet but not in 1st position.

On the flop either lead, or check raise. Check calling doesn't really give us...

Re: JJ as overpair

I would check behind here. With villans AGF I don't want to play for stacks with JJ on this drawy board.

On the river I may call a very small bet, but I'm most likly folding.

Re: JJ in 3 bet pot

I believe I can find a fold here. Villain's 3-bet pf is probably AK, maybe AQ and TT+. I don't see us beating a whole lot here. I would fold to his turn bet and wait for a better spot.

Re: 25nl AA on a monotone flop; how is my line?

bet flop, bet turn.. if at any point I'm raised big I'm probably going to find the fold button.

if villain C/C, C/C, C... I would check behind on river.

Re: KK vs. tricky opponent, check-raised on the flop

As played fold the river.

I agree betting the turn is ideal here.

Re: Making move

I really don't like the 3-bet pre. Villain's stats are pretty solid. You have a hand that has potential to flop well, I really don't see it as a strong PF hand vs. his range.

I would call PF in...

Re: AA. facing flop push

I doubt it's a set.. the guy called a 5-bet preflop. Pretty rare in 25NL for someone to call a 5-bet with JJ. I would put him on AK and he flopped the flush, or KK with one club. You're 5-bet...

Re: 25NL - Overs and FD vs giantfish

[ QUOTE ]
I think you should call. You are 4:1 to hit a flush and a K or Q might be good to.

[/ QUOTE ]

Huh? I thought on the flop you are about 36% to hit your flush which is a lot closer...

Rule of 2 and 4: If you call on the flop, must you call on the turn?

Ok say we have a hand similar to this:

SB: $21.50
BB: $21.45
UTG: $36.70
MP: $13.80
Ju5tin (CO): $25.00
BTN: $26.25

SB: $21.50
