Re: Detroit players...any limit hold em downtown???

The only $3-6 games I remember MC running were on the e-tables. That rake is unbeatable anyway for $3-6...perhaps the same for $5-10.

Re: Detroit players...any limit hold em downtown???

Motor City would be your best bet, but call first. They also spread omaha hi lo and 15-30 round by round, omaha hi and hold 'em. You should find a $5-10 and usually a $10-20 going most days

Re: Detroit players...any limit hold em downtown???

Motor city got rid of them for good and rolled that bad beat jackpot into the regular jackpot about 2 weeks back.

a couple Full tilt questions

1. Can I deposit with a VISA gift card? I'm in the US, if it matters.
2. How in the hell do I call them? I searched high and low on their site and from what I see they don't have a phone number.

Re: UPDATE on MGM vs MCC PLEASE

Search my posts from perhaps 5 months ago w.r.t. MC new room. It's no smoking. You get an hour to check in after you call. They usually have 5 or 6 $1-2nl games, 2 $5-10nl and on occasion two $2-5nl....

Re: Thanksgiving out west-what\'s the action like?

I found the action to be pretty good this past weekend. In fact, Monday was particularly busy for some reason. In fact Bellagio had 7, $2-5 games going and 3, $5-10nl and this was in the early-mid...

Re: Tunica, MS or New Orleans, LA

Which place doesn't have much $5-10nl?

Do you expect there to be a lot of $2-5 and $5-10nl games at Harrah's during Mardi Gras?

Re: HSP reruns

I just looked at the upcoming shows on TIVO and see that it replays at 2am, EST, THURS. I noticed the list of players included Guy as well as Negreanu so I know it's the new one.

Re: HSP reruns

Can anyone confirm that it replays on Thursdays? I didn't update my TIVO before I left for Vegas so I'm trying to find out as well since I missed the MON episode.

Re: Soaring Eagle Casino, MI - New and Improved Poker Room!

How many tables of $2-5 do they usually have on the week and on weekends and what is the waiting list like? Since your post 2.5 weeks ago have they had a $5-10nl game? If so, how often does it run?

Thanksgiving out west-what\'s the action like?

searched back a month, but couldn't find anything, except for the food thread.

Is it typically a slow weekend for Vegas? I would think so, but I haven't been there Thanksgiving weekend

How...

Re: As,Ks, flopped nut flush draw heads up OOP on baby flop

I knew re-raising was best since I didn't have a made hand yet and he did. I guess the question I should have asked was whether I should raise to perhaps $90 and let him make the decision to go all...

Re: The Well: TheMetetron

This is great advice about autopiloting. Often that's my problem. I play live $5-10nl for a living w/ a bunch of the same people day in and day out and I sometimes don't take the time to think...

Re: $5-10nl A\'s, 6 way to the turn

Actually there are 3 players behind me and I'm not sure yet whether or not I want to get it all in because I'm not sure where I am in the hand. Two of the 3 players behind me play draws passively....

$5-10nl A\'s, 6 way to the turn

My image is generally tight. However prior to this hand I raised 3 to the left of the BB to $35 w/ 6d,7d and showed the hand down to win a $1200 pot w/ two pair so the table may be thinking that I'm...

Re: Live Poker Pros

Not everyone can play 12 tables though and play well! I know I'm struggling w/ 3-4 NL games especially when full tilt keeps stealing focus when I'm trying to type in a bet!

What goals do you set for yourself as a pro?

x-post from B&M. I'd also like to hear what the internet players set as goals since I'm playing more and more online poker.

Not long ago I stopped setting monetary goals like "win $x by this date"...
