Re: muscle memory

As others in the thread have stated, muscle memory is about learning certain movement patterns (e.g. martial arts techniques, the olympic lifts ect) through repetion. It is not related to being able...

Re: NL25: turned 2p, reraise = spew?

[ QUOTE ]
Just wondering, why does everyone think that hero shouldn't bet flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

I bet that flop 100% of the time if I've raised pf and villian isn't a complete station. K46r is...

Re: TPTK vs unknow

Yeah I think I'm bad at not raising potential blocking bets. But I dont know how aggro this player is and wether he'd raise me allin with a strong draw on the turn.

Re: 25NL: AA facing all in on flop

Ok a few things:

People have said flop c/r is bad, I disagree. Although I bet this flop like 90% sometimes a c/r is good to vary your play, and a dry board like this is perfect for that.

My point is that this is not how he played his flush draw against be before.

Re: Folding QQ Preflop...Line Check

I fold to the 4 bet. Unless you've been 3 betting light pf he alomost certainly had AA/KK here, and if you call you're probably going to have to stack off on a non A/K flop(and you'll be beat most...

Re: $30 AA 300bb deep

[ QUOTE ]
given stats he could think his TT-KK is the nuts here.

[/ QUOTE ] Given OP's description of villians pf tendancies he 3 bets these hands pf.

Re: $30 AA 300bb deep

Your 300BB deep, you only have 1 pair (true it is the nut 1 pair hand), and villian wants to play for stacks. I fold to the flop 3 bet. I really don't see him doing this with a hand like 99. He may...

Re: Flop Set facing push on turn?

Yeah standard. If I worked out pot sizes correctly you have good enough pot odds to call and boat up on river if he has a straight. Plus he could have a hand you already beat like JT. If he has a set...

Re: O Baluga, how you torment me

I usually check behind on this turn on this board, call a reasonable river bet.

As played I would say fold, but I really think your committed to calling giving pot / stack sizes.

Re: Home game; line check

I'd raise slightly more on the flop. On the turn there's no real point in shoving given the facts:

1. You don't think you have any fold equity
2. You think villian will stack off if you hit flush...

Re: Bet sizing question

I think flop and turn are OK, although since villian is loose and there's no need for pot control and argument could be made to bet pot on flop and turn.

I'd bet alot more on the river. Villian...

Re: 25uNL - Extracting value with flush?

Bet $2 on the flop and then if called make a weak / scared looking bet on the turn, ~2 (figuring pot to be $6.5 on turn if you bet flop). Hopefully someone will bluff raise to rep the flush, and you...

Re: A8s - floped middle pair - any other play here?

Really you need a full stack size to be able to play properly. With a short stack like you only reeally have one option:
Raise / reraise big pf with only the very best hands. You are looking to...

Re: Boom! AKs - Work with me here uNL...

Although it seems like your beaten by a small pp who has a fh, you'd be supprised how often villian has been 'slowplaying' an hand like KJ on you.

Re: NL10 Third king falls on turn.

I call and try to get to showdown pretty cheaply

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the stack sizes / pot sizes this is impossible. The rest of the $s are goining in on the river 100% of the time.

Re: KK hits trips

I would still raise to like $1.2 pf, if you don't get sation so bet it.

The flop is massively drawy so bet more. Id bet pot here, 1/2 psb is way to small.

I think you have to check this turn....

Re: NL 25 - 88

I raise this pf because button limpers should be punished... it's such a weak move. If BTN and SB weren't uber loose and I had a really tight table image (i.e had got awfull cards all session so I...

Re: Overpair + NFD on flop

I'd rather just bet/call

Re: 4 betting unprofitable in micro stakes

I've seen people get it all in pf with axs and medium pocket pairs. I like a 4 bet insta shove with AA, I think it makes people think you just want the to fold, and in some ways looks less scary than...

Overpair + NFD on flop

Villian is 40/28/3 over about 35 hands. No reads as I just sat down at the table and stats are from previous session which I didnt make notes on.

Villian($19)
