Re: Two Pair Facing Strong Line

Yeah, his range includes hands like A8, pocket pairs along with hearts. Since he is short, I would call without much thought.

Re: AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet

Thanks for the input - It isn't really a 2-part question, the hand plays itself from this point.

I didn't listen to Grando and raised, although higher than what some of you thought.

Why...

AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet

Two part question –

I am running 24-18 for this session (200 hands) and 26-21 overall.
The original raiser was 21-17 (500 hands)
The 3-better was playing 28-22 (500 hands)

There has been...

Re: Turned my set, now do I fold? 100NL

Call - He was in the BB, could have 10-4 - 10-8 or like you said a combo draw. Even if he has a straight, we have outs.

I think the combination of these makes this a call.

How aggressive have...

Re: Weird river overbet...

Call - His range wide from 77-JJ to A7 scared of a flush draw or even 65 or 76.

Re: 100nl, Flopped straight, monotone board

[ QUOTE ]
I don't like calling at all.. even if he isn't on a flushdraw, a fourth heart on the turn would slow the action way down.
Get in as much as possible now when you are likely ahead.

Re: HERO tries to induce the bluff..AJo $100

Why didn't you raise the flop?

I would have probably raised the flop - checked the turn and called most river bets.

Re: TP2K overbet on turn 150BB deep...play?

If he is as passive as your description, you are probably toast here because of his UTG raise and betting - The only hand we beat is AK imo.

Re: I\'m going to teach SSNL how to be weak tight

So are you saying the only hands he does this with is 79, a set, or 2 pair?

Call and see what happens on turn -

Re: 100NL, AK checks turn and rivers into trips for all chips

Call - By checking the turn he thinks you missed the flop -

I say this that because most people who miss the flop and c-bet and check turn fold to a river bet.

I wonder why he bet so much...

Re: NL200: QQ, suspicious donk on KXX

I would wonder why he would donk into me a pot-sized bet. I would then time down and fold.

If he would bet $40 I would call and re-evaluate -

Re: 100NL, 73 2pr on monotone flop, gets minraised by shortie

I call

He could have a random Queen or an Ah3 or Ah7

Since he is short stacked - so I probably check raise the turn all-in on a non-heart or queen turn.

Do you think you are beat here over...

Re: 200NL FTP blind battle line check?

[ QUOTE ]
I Call. We are ahead of his range so don't want to fold yet. Raising will probably blow him off most/all hands we beat and the board is not too drawy so calling seems good.
