For example: I have 2 ads on Google, showing for the same keyword. Ad...

How\'s my line?
Live $2/5 NLH must-move to a larger game (I am planning on leaving if I have to move). Full 8-handed table, mostly younger players with less than the max buy-in ($200).
This is the second hand I...

Rejecting Null Hypothesis
If I only have 2 means and a sample size, what test do I use to determine with what significance I can reject the null hypothesis?
Much thanks.

I'm not sure how I found it originally (prob. Google) but I read that at least 6 months ago, so it's not too recent.

Re: best book for poker probabilities
Those types of probabilties you can easily find using Google, lots of sites list out fairly basic hold'em probabilities such as odds for flopping different hands.

Re: 6 Cards vs. 5 in A to 5 Triple Draw
I think the advantage would be the increased chance of getting a quality starting hand, which would probably be about 20% more likely.
It's got to be a huge advantage that would be very difficult...

Re: 2-7 Triple Draw Starting Hand Probabilities
I think I've got it, but my totals are not adding up to what I think they should be, maybe you can find my error:
Any 23xxx (where x can be 2,3,9-A) = 4*4*C(30,3)=64,960
All others should equal...

2-7 Triple Draw Starting Hand Probabilities
What are the odds of getting exactly 234xx (where the xx is not a 2-8)?
(I don't want to include say 2347x, which would be counted under a different group of possible starting hands)
Similarly,...

Re: how do i do this 2-7 tripple draw math
I would approach it as how many ways are there to make each hand that you would consider favorable (16 ways to make 47 etc, will vary based on any dead cards). Then divide each of those...

Re: HORSE bankroll
That sounds reasonable, but I think applying a bankroll formula for your win rate and deviation in the games you play would be best. It could easily be that 200 is enough, or 500, who knows?
