Re: Did anyone have their HHs analyzed by the Feakonomics guy?

They sent me that crappy book, but no hand analysis.

Re: two hands where i think i made the right play?

Do you have some reads that you aren't telling us about?

Hand 1 is terrible, a pair and a flush draw is a very strong hand. Lead the turn, only fold to the most severe pressure. As played call...

Re: $100/nl TT vs LAG

I guess I was going into the great unknown. I submit, bet the flop.

Thanks all for the input!

Re: $100/nl TT vs LAG

[ QUOTE ]
You bet the flop to represent either the Ace or better and force him to fold, call, or play back at you.

If you just check, then he can lead the turn and river and push you off...

Re: Fire Again? Blind battle at NL25

Flop looks fine, and I like $10 on the turn. I would give up after that though as you have no fold equity on the river. Looks like a FD, hope he doesn't catch a piece on the river to beat your ace...

Re: NL50, 88 in BvB

That raise to $5 is horrible. It is way too small to have any effect, he is still calling with hands that beat you and still folding hands that don't. Call the river and be done with the hand.

Re: QQ on monotone flop; 50NL

I had a post written saying to check the turn, but I think that is worng. He bet cheap on the flop because hes blocking, otherwise he would have reraised you there. He has a weak/scared hand, make...

Re: $100/nl TT vs LAG

I'm not afraid of the Ace, I just see no value in betting this flop. Basically by betting I'm hoping he has 2 clubs or that he can't fold 88. Villian is agressive and will bet and by check calling...

Re: 50NL: KK face ai from reraise to a rr

If you are going to 4 bet here (and I wouldn't) you need to make a mans raise to $25ish then call a push and pray he doesn't have aces.

Call the first reraise and play poker.

Re: 10NL - QQ vs. donk bet w/ overpair

My gut reaction was to just call to get CO in the pot, but I think thats a mistake. Too many cards can come to either kill your action or beat you. Raise and call everything.

$100/nl TT vs LAG

Villian is 45/25/3.5

I know I played it passivly. I couldn't see him calling a flop bet without an Ace and I planned to call down to catch a bluff but with the king on the river I was sure I was...

Re: FT 50NL, do i just suck at playing AK?

Reload!

Played it fine, don't even think about folding to the min raise. You don't have many options when short, I'm going broke here w/ 50bbs.

Re: $100/nl Check/fold turn?

Thank you for the replies.

As soon as he called the flop my brain said "you're dead" then when the turn brought the A and again I knew I was crushed but I couldn't stop my hand from betting. ...

Re: $100/nl Check/fold turn?

I am truthfully asking, do you really think 10/2/.8 is drawing here?

$100/nl Check/fold turn?

Villian is 10/2/.8 over a large sample. I felt sick betting that turn.

Re: 200 NL. My KK runs into a 3-bet 165bbs deep.

I'll give a shot. I think you have to give him credit for JJ here unless you have seen him overbet bluff before.

FWIW I probablly bet the turn and play it from there.
Tough hand.

Re: 200: JJ OOP in Blind War

The more I think about this hand the more i like leading the turn, especially w/ the 2 falling. I think you have the best hand so you make him pay. If raised again you can safely fold. If he calls...

Re: 200: 88 oop

In a reraised pot, if I am villian and I get donked by solid player, red flags start flying. I think thats why I would rather check call and try to check raise the turn AI or C/R the flop depending...

Re: NL200 - a good draw multiway

The turn is UGLY, check fold to a big bet. I don't really like the flop either, you're straight outs aren't clean so you're playing for the flush. Make it $100 to go on the flop or fold.
