Re: calling reraises from the button?

$5.50 buy in.
I am asking because I can't see anyone on the button smooth calling a raise and a reraise from UTH and UTG+1 with anything but AKs, KK-QQ or 1010 and KK-QQ would be an easy push IMO.

calling reraises from the button?

I wanted to get some feedback as to calling ranges when you are on the button when facing a raise and a reraise.
i.e.
blinds 10-20
Everyone has T1500
UTG raises to 75, UTG+1 reraises to 225, all...

Re: KJs in the BB

I missed this one. I can see where you need to bet the turn. You can't worry about the Flush. Thanks

Re: KJs in the BB

check call both turn and river, unless a heart comes up on the river, then fold. My reasoning for this is the fact that you are caught in between players who are showing strength, one being a PF...

Re: fold pocet KK after turn raise?

If BB capped the flop, then I check behind on the turn, unless you are absolutely certain that he has K10.
Check turn, call river bet, bet river if checked to you.

Poker Stars .50-1.00

Since when did .50-1.00 on Poker Stars become mindless
roulette fans playing poker? limp with QQ, call with the nuts...
Anyone tell what's going on here?
This level is much worse than FTP .50-1.00

Re: SB checkup

I don't like calling any pocket pair lower than 88 in a raised pot from the SB unless there are 6+ players in the pot. You rarely hit the flop you want and when you do, it won't be perfect and you...

Re: Can players with very loose preflop selection be winners?

Just for giggles..
Would you expand on how you would loosen up a bit (alla SSHE) in these situations (playing with Maniac, being a maniac).

A few recent hands-Bet/Fold situations?

A few minutes ago I read a post regarding Bet/fold situations. I feel like I just came up on one, where I was going to take the tactic
a)show aggression on the flop unless there are overcards.
b)3...

I have been using the bet/fold primarily against loose passive players, especially when I'm OOP. I had a great example today. I held QQ in early position. I raised and got two callers,...

Re: these AQo spots really annoy me

WOW-That cynical tone suprises me. It sounds like something that I would say.

If you think that you are probably dominated here then, although weak, a fold may be good.
I don't see why you can't...

Re: AP infinity plus one - New AP Statement

I think their punishment should be that of the old times when 3 or 4 goons took you out back and put 2 bullets through your eyes.
They should be drawn and quartered like Mel Gibson in Braveheart.

Re: I have a major leak (probably more than one, but this I know)

You are completely correct. I misunderstood as I was reading too fast. I read it as given the flush coming in on the turn, would I bet.
Checking behind on a brick, then yes, the pot is too big for...

Re: I have a major leak (probably more than one, but this I know)
