I registered at the site and browsed the site/forums a little bit. But I couldn't find any "where to start" guide.

Re: NL20 TT overpair, turn action given stack sizes?

[ QUOTE ]
The river is a bit more questionable, I MIGHT check call there if he calls a big turn bet, player dependent.

he only has $12 behind, doesn't that change things? Obviously...

Re: NL20 rivered FH, river action?

[ QUOTE ]
Since you're posting it, I assume he had AK and stacked you. I think you've got to raise the river, based on his line. The board isn't all that drawy on the turn and he's simply calling...

villain is 19.7/5.7/0.9 over 315 hands. Does a passive villain always show up with the flush here?

Raise more pre flop to $0.85 or something, which makes his odds to call for set value a lot worse.

Re: marginal hands and raised pots

Well Jallabar, this might sound simple, but I think the solution is already in your question: don't play raised pots with marginal hands.

You can raise first in with those hands and fold to a...

Re: NL25 - Re-Raised w/ Pocket Nines

A standard 25NL short stacked villain will reraise with AK or a bigger pair then yours. You can't call for set value, so I would fold.

Re: 25NL; AK put to the test

You are showing a lot of strenght pre flop and on a K high dry flop. Nonetheless he raises you and wants to get all the chips in the middle. Without further reads, I think villain will show up with...

Re: 10NL - Is this a call?

I know, I insta called, but afterwards I was thinking with what range he would do this. If he already had the flush, I was drawing to 7 outs and the all-in bet was big compared to the pot.
