Re: Random result grapher spreadsheet

[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for improving it Shrooma they are interesting to see. I wonder if you could use the results of each simulation to produce a graph of cumulative probability of ROI/profit (preferably...

Re: Random result grapher spreadsheet

[ QUOTE ]
Forgive me, as I know I'm being a nit here, but what's accounting for the variance when recalcing each time? I somehow get that the sheet is calculating different scenarios even if you...

Re: Random result grapher spreadsheet

Okay, I rewrote from scratch a very fast simulation sheet supporting up to 32000 simulations of 32000 tournaments. The results shown are distribution of profit, best, worst and average runs and...

Re: Random result grapher spreadsheet

Been working further on the simulation part, will upload a version soon. I'll try to include best run, worst run, largest down/upswing, breakeven strike, and distribution.

Concerning the last,...

Re: Random result grapher spreadsheet

I expanded this excelsheet with a simulating part (assuming it was open source /images/graemlins/smile.gif ). It simulates a predefined number of profit graphs based on the input given. The best and...

Re: $5+0.50 Resteal from BB - too risky?

Let's say Small blind will call your push with 20% of his hands (which is 33+, A4+, A2s+, KQ+, KJs+, KTs+). I did some ICM calculations in SNGWizard.

The graph shows that SB should be raising over...

Re: $22: 77 on QQx flop in position, level 1 - how do u play?

I fold preflop too, primarily to avoid these spots where you don't really know where you stand. No need to lose chips yet..

Re: Full Tilt Shortcuts - new ahk script

I'm using FTS for SNG table opening and selection, just love the new Sharklist feature.
However, occasionally some sharks are present at my tables that shouldn't be. Would this be due to the...

[22s] QQ very early, push or fold?

I find these early spots very difficult and would like some advice on how people handle this situation.

Initial raiser is LAG 35/20/1.3 (filtered for 7-9 players, only 63 hands)
Pusher is unknown...

Re: 6.5 -One of the most interesting hands in my short SnG career

[ QUOTE ]
SNG wiz is weird on this one. It says to call with any two and that folding AQs is a -10% fold here.
I turned simulate future games off and it says to call with JJ+ and calling here is...

Re: $22\'s - PP - 66 - BBL - Nice stacks, villain open raise btn. shove

I fold here pretty much all the time.

Villain opening 22+, A2+, K8s+, QJ+, Q9s+, JTs (30%) and calling 10%:

Push equity 28.25
Fold equity 29.71
Difference 1.46

Button should open over 50%...

[ QUOTE ]
FGS uses the opponent model assigned to each opponent to determine player hand ranges.

However, we are not able to assign a hand range to the button (BB in future game)...

Re: 16s: Bad Fold?

Yeah, I don't like pushing here for 20 BB. 1200 is fine IMO, just get it in on each flop and fold to a BB raise.

Edit: No, I think pushing is better, such a spew otherwise.

Re: 16s: Surprised SNGPT says fold

You're right, I think the ranges used there are questionable but not completely retarded.

For this particular situation one future game is simulated. Villain is now the button and we are in the...

Re: 16s: Surprised SNGPT says fold

The Simulate Future Games option has been beta for a long time but should be working properly according to SNGWizard support.

For an explanation, I'll quote the SNGWizard help file (reference...

Re: 16s: Surprised SNGPT says fold

Using Simulate Future Games on SNGWizard.

you will win from a 10% push 27.5% of the time leaving you with 41% equity by giving you the chiplead in the heads up game. If you lose your equity only...

Re: 16s: Surprised SNGPT says fold

SNGWizard lets you call (99% of hands) if SB shoves ATC.

Difference in equity is .93% and when simulating future games it increases to 1.34% (which is huge). I definately call in this spot not...

Re: 22$, Should I push here with ATC?

I would push like 80% of hands here, 84o not included. I like pdiggz idea, although it doesn't work against good opponents.

ICM calculations:

Shove any two if opponents are very tight (button...
