Re: Nice two hand swing (Was I out of line?)

OP should definitely spend less time playing poker and more time trying not to be a huge tool

Re: 10/20nl tough river decision.

shoving is terrible here and id say more of a bluff than a value raise. In some other thread I remember he called a pot sized bet on a paired board on the turn w/ a flush draw so maybe he'd be...

Re: 10/20 blind vs blind

I considered it... I just hated my spot because my hand could easily be a set or top 2 and I'm still getting raised. If I get it all in I guess I'm hoping he has AJ? maybe another AK? A pure bluff...

Re: Just quick check on river str8 play

I dislike the turn check a lot with position and being somewhat deep, but yeah river's standard

Re: Top 2, can I fold?

I usually call turn here to disguise your hand more. There's very few hands with more than 2 outs against you and raising lets your opponent fold a lot of weaker holdings much easier. Either shove...

Are there any limitations on longer duration Vanguard bonds?

I was looking at purchasing some bonds from vanguard (probably leaning towards their bond index fund) and couldn't find any limitations really for their long term bonds compared to their mid-term...

Re: 3-bet.net coaches

just curious... how do most people coach online? If I ever tried to coach someone I'd just tell them to open a few tables and watch them play and point out any glaring mistakes or offer up alternate...

5/10 3 way pot with good draw

Effective stacks are 1200 6 handed game, I probably have a fairly tight image post-flop, maybe a bit on the loose side preflop

Villain 1 isn't a regular but doesn't seem like a huge fish, is at...

Re: Top 10 sickest ever internet hands-nominee thread

One that sticks out to me probably because it was before the big full tilt games was one on prima 200/400 heads up antonius vs lodden, antonius had KK and lodden AQ I think, and it went like 4 raises...

Re: 10/20 ftp. how not to play ak deep stacked.

Seems like a weird play by villain, I'm not as convinced as everyone else that you're beat by the river... only hand I see him playing this way is QQ. Seems like a perfect flop to bet KK/AA/random...

Frequent spot... reraise a big pair preflop, flop has an ace

What's a good line?

For example, you get QQ, cutoff raises, you 3-bet from the small blind flop is A /images/graemlins/spade.gif 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Re: $114 - AQ from BB hits AAx flop

If villain is good I'd say this is an automatic fold. It's so easy to put you on an ace here, he's not bluffing he's trying to get paid off. No chance he 2x overbets the pot on the river with AJ or...

Re: Interesting flop spot, 3/6

The mistake he'd be making with his lesser hands if we bet would be folding them. It also puts us in a much better spot to get paid off for the last half of his stack if we hit. Also knocking AK...

Re: 3Barrel standard right?

I think you got looked up by AK/AQ or Ax spades

edit: actually now looking at his preflop stats he'd usually reraise AK/AQ I think. I like it a lot more now
