Hand 2: on paired boards, the chances someone hit his set are smaller, simply because there is only one unpaired card on the board. Of course he could have 65, but I don't think...

Re: ***Official November Chat Thread: The Golden Duck***

Did you like come home totally drunk from your home game and wonder how you managed to lose like 100 bucks against complete retards? Cause that's how I'm feeling right now...

Re: NL25 fold TPTK against unknown here?

[ QUOTE ]
Your 1/2 pot bet on turn shows weakness. I would definitely call this river given the weakness that you displayed.

#2 - 1.15, IMO typing the number owns the slidebar.

LOL. 1.15 is good, villain dependant 1 is ok, too...

Re: NL100 - Is This Standard?

I'd CB this flop, as played I don't know if pushing here on the turn is really good. Thing is: though you could be easily good here, the only hands that call your shove are the ones that have you...

I just don't understand how the smaller bets would have prevented me losing here once the action started from villian.

Re: NL 25: Proper Shove?

Either fold flop or raise it if you think he does not have an A and you can win the pot right there. No sense in floating there.
Don't like your shove cause he donked the flop after calling your...

Re: 50nl flopped set OOP on monotone board -Deep Stacked

I like the c/r if he is rather aggressive and CBets a lot. 4bet is pretty bad news but I push here.
i just stoved three hands he could make such a play with:

Re: NL25: AA v 2 NIT robots. $24 in the pot $16 left. Q on flop.

Push flop. I'd raise a little bit more PF.

Re: AA hands - 2 big losses - am i playing badly here??

Hand 1: c/c, c/rrai is so often a monster. With what hand would he call PF, then just flat call a PSB on the flop and then shove over your 2nd PSB on the turn? I don't see any hand playing that way...

NL100: QT in CO+1. River makes 2pair, villain bets PS

Villain is 18/5/0.9 over 115 hands. His Folded BB to steal is 0.00 for some weird reasons, his river aggression oo over this small sample.
I'm running at 14/10.
What range do you give him on the...

Re: 50NL: What do you call with here?

JT, QhJh obv, J9 and J8 as well. Oh, and JJ, lol. 7h6h too.
Every J only hand or overpair is just not worth the risk half your stack in such a small, unraised pot.

Re: NL100: PF raise with TT gets raised, I c/r on flop. Ok? Spew?

My only personal problem with these is the psychological angle - i.e. does he feel you are about to make a stand? How long since he last pushed you about is probably relevant too.

NL100: PF raise with TT gets raised, I c/r on flop. Ok? Spew?

Villain is 17.5/13.5/2.8 over 300 hands so far. He seems pretty good, very aggressive as stats show. At this table, he has 3bet me 3 or 4 times IP before this hand occured. I think I folded once PF...

NL100: 76s OTB. Fire 2nd barrell on turn? Ok to bet river here?

Villain is 38/8/0.4 after only 50 hands, I think he could easily call my PF raise with a wide range hands of.
I'm running at 15/11 so far.

CB is standard IMO, he's kind of loose but I've seen him...

Re: NL100 - 64s in BB, push 15-outer on multiway flop?

I like it...Lots of FE, 8 safe outs and maybe the flush outs is good enough for me.

Re: Stars $50 - limp/reraise with AA

I'd raise a little more to say 13. Open shoving flop would be fine too, but seriously, with this board and two callers, chances are pretty good you could be behind now. This is not too big a problem...

Re: NL$200| Do I let drunkenboxer off the hook?

I think you're right, calling his 3bet and then pushing over his flop CB is better to maximize profit here than pushig PF.
