Re: Optimal strategy for addons?

Statistically I understand that if you are all in and you have an extra 3K you now have 6K you would not have had a couple more all in wins (which u gotta have to win a tourney) and now you are 24K...

Re: Always going bust to set over set?

Standard, granted people might get nitty and play a little differently but are you really going to fold a flopped set to a raise or even an all in?, no.

Re: What level should I play?

I really would not play higher than .02/.05 with the amounts you are talking about, anything under $100 u might want to stay at .01/02 for a while.

Re: Playing the \"Steps\" on Stars but can\'t go on the trip

Re: Playing the \"Steps\" on Stars but can\'t go on the trip

A lot of people seem to be stuck with step tickets.

They make it pretty clear up front they are not good for anything else up front.

If you actually worked your way up from $7.50 you could try...

Re: 17 way chop - was it a good decision

Being there probably makes a big difference but on principle no matter how the money comes down chopping 17 ways does sound pretty bad.

I think there are lots a variables if you are sittng on the...

Re: Is this wrong?

Ethically OK since there was no plan ahead of time that one player would take over if the other one busted and something came up forcing one player to leave.

Legally I think most Terms and...

Re: Live $1/$2 game, tricky AA, 250BB deep...

This is a pretty sick spot it is the flop bet that make this really hard to figure maybe A9 or any overpair to the board. The problem is given the turn bet TP is obviously right on his range.

Re: Heads up agreement?

I don't see how it is not collusion if two players verbally agree to put another player at a disadvantage that he would not have if they had not talked to each other.

Re: guy claims he knows a pokerstars programmer that rigged the rng

Continuing to read the other forum was priceless and revealed gems like this:

"My straight flushes got beat by royal flushes at least five times... And this was a time span over two months."

Re: in BB staring at AKo early on......

This is why I hate AK, it is just a drawing hand (no flaming I know it's still strong) and with that many people in you are certainly up against at least one PP and maybe two. While you discount SB...

Re: Push or c/f when pf stealing get called?

The reason this is hard is because you bet so much pf. If you bet 150 on flop some options are better than other but either way its not a big deal and you just move on to the next hand. Now any...

Re: 6 max or full ring for semi beginner?
