Re: OC and possible filled straight on river
Thanx boz for such a full reply. If this was HU I wouldn't hesitate but against two I was hovering above the bet button with a feeling that one of them must have improved to something that beat me.

Re: OC and possible filled straight on river
Ok, we got two opponents who limp from E-MP. To me, that means anything from Ax, small pair or mid suited connector to 2-gapper. They seem quite loose so Kxs is possible I guess.
Flop , I get TP....

Re: turn easy call?
I'm thinking that he has a J or a FD as likely holdings. He's probably not cold calling 55 or 77 PF so I consider them to be less likely. If he has a J it would be paired with at least a suited Q to...

Re: turn easy call?
Isn't calling the flop raise a bit marginal or am I weak tight again for thinking so? If you think he's on a flush draw, raising flop for a free turn, then maybe you should donk the turn (fold to a...

Re: .10/.20 pstars
I believe you missed a value bet on the river there. Any reason for checking?
Flop: Seems like UTG have UI overs. Button could be raising TP or on a draw for a "free" card. I dont mind donking but...

Re: Flopped trips
Lots of people are advocating raising for value on the flop. Anyone care to estimate how much more value we get out of raising as opposed to calling?
If raising reduce the amount of callers to...

I dont really care what they do. Protecting our hand is not about that. It's about either making them fold correctly in which case we win, or...

Re: Flopped trips
I'll try to expand on my thinking here a bit.
First of all we're almost certainly ahead here and want to extract as much money as possible. If we just call, overcards, PPs and anyone holding a 7...

Re: Flopped trips
Anyone wanna wait with the raise until turn?
There's no way we can protect our hand against a FD (which is the only hand we'd really like to get rid of here). By raising we make sure that FDs get...

Re: Value-raising on Turn and River
I'm with Dankenstein. Raising PF here is goot. Huge implied odds for those times when you hit your set.
Doesn't matter if you're doing it with 44, 55, 88, 99 or whatever low-mid. You're going for...

Re: Value-raising on Turn and River
Raising PF with 4 limpers is not a bad idea. You will get plenty of action when you hit a set and, as opposed to sooted connectors hitting a flush, it's more disguised. That's why you'd call with...

I don't have a problem with calling the raise on the turn because we have pot odds to do so closing the action.

Re: A6o SB OESD only a tiny pair on the river
The part I have issues with is PF. A6 is crap and you're out of position for the rest of the hand. Yes, I know you get a discount from the SB and get 6.5:1 but I doubt this is +EV, especially...
