what about alternating hughes and jobain the playoffs
every game that the starter doesn't make it to the seventh one or the other comes in

trade matsui and melky for rowand and then cash and prospects can be exchanged to even it out

also show me the data over the past year and a half that shows that melky is bad at defense... i don't think he's great, but he has a good arm and his range seems decent... I would guess he's above...

jeter gets on first base a lot... posada hits a lot of hard ground balls and can't run, double play with your best hitter coming...
