Well I would say Hughes and Moose on the road are ~ to Wang on the road, so I don't think it's smart to risk Wang's home effectiveness by starting him in Game 1 and having him start at home on short...

No I agree Wang at home on short rest > Moose. I just think they are using him least optimally.

I really don't think pitching Wang on the road/then at home on short rest is a good idea at all.

I'm a big believer in LOL @ splits meaning anything, but I think there's credibility in this one....

Also like to note that Maddux leads the league this year in K:BB. So he still has the insane control that has always made him great, but the fact that his K rate has declined so much is what has made...

Maddux in his prime had very good K numbers. Though yes, it wasn't his Strikeout ability it was his BB allowed that made him one of the best pitchers ever.

Doug Davis sucks.(Though he does have 7k/9 so awful example)

If I'm not mistaken, if the Yankees finish 1 game behind the Red Sox, the Red Sox will have a better record than the Yankees and thus will win the division.

He pitched only 100 innings last year. Huge jumps between years is very risky, so I would be surprised if he throws another 30 innings this year.
