Re: Aces on the turn to Big bet? Is this a fold?

.25/.50 is technically Micro Stakes not Small Stakes, but yes, I do think this is a fold. There's no incentive for the villian to bluff, so I find it very hard to believe your aces are ever good here.

Re: 100NL - I have aces in a 2.5b pot but he\'s a nit

[ QUOTE ]
None of those are a definitive fold, but JJ is probably a fold, QQ is probably a call, and KK+ is a fist pump call.

Re: Go bust Deepstacked with Aces in 3-betted Pot?

I wouldn't 3 bet the flop just because JJ and 99 obviously aren't going anywhere, but by doing that you give 88/TT/QQ/KK the chance to get away (not that many people fold KK there). I think the turn...

Re: quick line check 3b pot OOP

I think I like bet/call better here. It makes your hand look weaker in my opinion since you'd lead out here with most of your hands that missed the flop, and he'll be more likely to make a move with...

Shoving makes JsJx QsQx TsTx fold... i hope. I think folding here is bad, but thats just me

Re: you ever try [censored] like this when you think youre gettin 3b light?

I'd prefer to have at least A high or a gutshot or some sort of outs so that if I get called I'm not drawing dead...

Re: Splashing around in a 3bet pot

I'd be tempted to just call this turn bet. Your hand is extremely well disguised, and you have 12 outs to make a monster. The way you described the villian makes me think he'd cbet this flop most of...

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

Given your description of the villian I think this is fine. I don't really see him showing up here with anything other than AA/KK. Guys with 0.6 AF are probably not double barreling AK...

Re: tptk agains HUGE fish

I play it basically the same, although yeah, I'd probably bet a little more on the river. $28 sounds good.

Re: NL200$ 6-max, 6,6 semi-deep

10 outs twice, decent amount of money already in the pot... shove and try to suckout on KK.

Re: nl 100, I played my AA extremely passive. line check.

I think you definitely need to bet this flop. This is a pretty draw-heavy board, and I see no reason to let them draw for free.

Re: Live NL200 Max. Standard Push?

Given your reads that one player probably has a pair TT+ and the other one likely has AK, I think folding A9s preflop is definitely the move. As played, I'd probably just call the flop. The pot is...

Re: nl100 kk oop

I'd probably make it a little more preflop, something like 50, but looks pretty good to me.

Re: Line w/ JJ?

What was your logic for not raising the flop? I'd probably just go ahead and do that to get some more information.

Re: NL100: Slowplay with set on dry texture?

[ QUOTE ]
Had you slowplayed with A8 or 85 here?

[/ QUOTE ]

Those hands are way more vulnerable to top pair type hands, so I would be way less likely to slowplay them.

Re: NL100: Slowplay with set on dry texture?

4-bet to $34.50. That'll show him. Or just call and get it in on the turn, but come on... how fun is that?

Re: 100NL What do we do on this flop bet into with QQ

Without a read I don't think it's a crime to just fold here. Heads up I'd probably call, fold if he fires the turn, and bet if he checks the turn, but with the BB in there too it's just too likely...

Re: set of 7s! yeaaaah

You gotta find a way to try to get all the money in here. I'd probably just c/r the flop, since he's not getting away from AA, KK, or AQ, but I agree with others that if you're going to donk the...

Re: 300NL 4-connected board vs. doubtful LAG

Re: What would you classify a guy with these #\'s

I would classify a 34/6 as "Bad", but I guess loose-passive captures it too. In terms of exploiting a player like this, I'd try to play lots of pots with them in position, cbet a lot since they're...

Re: KQ trips bvb

Call. Sucks if he has AQ or 77, but he has worse queens plenty of the time.
