Re: Games with tremendous storylines?

Max Payne, maybe? It's fairly short and has a pretty good noir-type story. Plus I don't think it's all that hard.

Anyone have a suggestion for an FPS with a good single player campaign/storyline?

Re: Games with tremendous storylines?

MGS 3 does have a great storyline and is overall one of the best games I've played. If you don't mind going old school, and if you can find a copy, Suikoden 2 had one of the best storylines I've seen...

Re: ***Official 2007-2008 MLB Offseason Thread***

Fwiw I thought Lind was pretty good in the field last year and I saw a decent amount of Jays games, though it is kinda tough to tell through the T.V. Fielding metrics are iffy, I agree, but I am...

Re: Writing Competition: Discussion Thread

I think there are definitely a few ways to interrupt the story and I really like the one mentioned in Taso post, though I must admit I had a different take, which I will likely outline later (though...

Re: *** Official NY Mets Our OFFSEASON Has Come Thread ***

lol (at the comments, that is), "clubhouse cancer" aside, Church is a pretty good outfielder. 114 OPS+ last year and his defense is apparently solid. I don't know much about the Mets' situation and...

He isn't leading the league in tackles. Gibril Wilson and Michael Lewis are ahead of him, neither of whom are all that good. My point was that tackles aren't a very good stat to judge safeties by....

Re: For Dissection....2008 Red Sox Roster........

He is slowing down a touch, it would seem, as his HR/G shot up quite a lot last year but it could just be variance (though his xFIP has risen every year since 04). However, I still think he is worth...

The problem (which is not his fault) is that this kid should not be starting. He makes some good plays, but then he'll make some plays that are just ridiculously stupid.

The Final- An insanely well written story with a very unique and fitting style. I really enjoyed the different segments, though I didn't really "get" it at first. However, after
reading a few of...

Decent throw by Rodgers but a great run by Jennings. Pretty impressive. Also, it looks like Newman might be out.

Packers are running pretty well on those pitches. Pitches man, pitches.

I also love the occasional flee-flicker but I have no idea how effective they are.

Wow, old Romo with a bad throw to set Original Romo at midfield. Also, it still amazes me that TO gets so open.

He's improved a bit since last year. I remember when he used to refer to a punt as "turning it over on downs". Unless I am the idiot here, which is certainly possible.

Re: *****OFFICIAL DALLAS COWBOYS VS GREEN BAY PACKERS 11/29/07 THREAD*

That might be worth looking at. I'm really not sure what the rule is in that situation. Harris came away with the ball in bounds (it looked like) but I couldn't see if TO had already stepped out.
