5 won't be nearly enough for zero withholding. There is a calculator on the IRS website that you can use to calculate the "correct" numbers, so I'd recommend using it later in the year. When my...

If the student loans are cheaper than ~5% or so, I wouldn't pay them off any quicker than I had to. However, I would probably not invest the money either. I'd just stick it in a high yield savings...
