Re: $4/180 shortstacked hand

3 limpers, 2 of which are short and a limped UTG. If either shorty had something, why wouldn't they be pushing, particularly MP2? Also, he said he is 40 out of 60 left. I hate A weak, but why aren't...

Re: WSOP Circuit Harrahs Atlantic City in December

Newbie - Can you register for the tournaments in advance? (no Harrahs' player card) If not, how early should I get there to get registered for the Noon event on Sat. Dec 8th?

Re: what is the impact with a rebuy and without a rebuy tournament ?

You're probably a very strong reason why better players are so profitably in Rebuys. I almost shouldn't even mention why your post is so -EV for you and +EV for me.

Re: Flush draw with shorty allin

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah betting makes absolutely no sense. You usually semibluff with draws to take down the pot or to have outs if you get called. So you are basically betting into an empty, dry sidepot. If...

Re: what is the impact with a rebuy and without a rebuy tournament ?

[ QUOTE ]
I am so sick of putting 2-3 hours and then busting out and not placing on the money, are rebuys better and give you a much higher chance to be in the final table?

Thank You

Re: Flat calling 3-bet with KK, right play? Stars 4/180

Re: OK to gamble here?

If I understand you correctly, you feel confident you can outplay SB, UTG and CO. Yet you want to gamble with MP why?

Re: Spewing on a budget

I do use table dymanics, stacks, reads to determine when to speculate. I guess you could call it justifying, but the goal is to loosen up some, not alot. The budget just keeps me from going overboard...

Spewing on a budget

This is a work in progress, but so far has met with decent results. It seems to be more productive early in a tournament.

I generally play taggy and wanted to find a way to loosen up some. So I...

Re: Late in Tourney - AK with 2 all-ins

Thanks. There were lots of critics at the table (aren't there always) who railed on me at the time - it was such a horrible call. I didn't think so under the circumstances.

Now if the cards are...

Late in Tourney - AK with 2 all-ins

This is late in $10 + one rebuy and add-on. It took about 40 minutes to go from 65 players down to 63 and the money. After that, it seems to be an all-in fest. Someone is all-in on practically every...
